Serenity doesn't commune with Mischief,
For peace bears no stinging strings of violence;
Do not make PAWN of a chaste mind,
For if you do:
Personally, a huge victory you would conceive.
Since gullibly would such mind be
Whatever you instruct - engulfed in deep loyalty!
Dance and get drunk in your triumph,
Make merry like the mad medley strings of violins,
But for every ounce of loyalty betrayed,
Nature awaits!

Escapism beside the water’s edge, as misty dawn awakes
Great crested grebes, dressed to impress, elegantly pass me by ~
I took the bait – gullibly distracted from encroaching on their morning feast.

Brexit Sonnet No.22
‘How Can I Leave Thee’
How can I leave thee? Let me count the ways.
I’ll leave thee as I believe I have the right
To batter and breach all doubters in plain sight.
I’ll end EU trading with indecent haste.
I’ll leave thee as every Leaver brays,
‘Heed the shining democratic light’.
I’ll lead thee weakly, let others worry what’s right.
I’ll lead thee gullibly, so no challenge raise.
I’ll lead thee to a cliff edge to be obtuse,
Ignoring briefs, and with my experts gagged.
I’ll lead after my election I seemed to lose.
With no true friends, I’ll leave thee not a mood lift,
Union, nor smiles for rest of life; and, as it’ll prove,
I shall but leave thee worse and cast adrift.

Brexit Sonnet No.2
‘Precious Time’
One Billion earned takes patience, faith and years.
To calculate it out on goodly pay,
It’s twenty thousand years of sweat and tears,
Twenty thousand years with little say.
Yet glibly do we quote this awesome sum;
To use an average wage it’s even more.
Thirty seven thousand years ‘till done.
Beware this sum; it’s more for rich than poor.
One hundred millennia for Brexit’s wayward turn;
So grab that trunk, shake that moneyed tree,
To gullibly pay again for what we burn.
So please don’t spend or trade this time for me.
Disgorge your Pounds and Euros by all means,
But waste not my precious time on useless dreams.

To give glory to Satan I'm sorry to sound,
Though bitter a truth I've certainly found:
Some sons Satan has strictly tamed and tied,
(Forbid O Lord I might have lied).
On wicked ways their thoughts hidebound,
As devil dictates they gullibly go round;
They have become his bond-servants and lieges,
In enemy's bondage who artfully besieges.
And they sorrowfully lead their breath on earth,
The dragon depraved them their mission and mirth;
Them he mistreats and mangles and mocks,
And laughs at loud and in the searing Lake of fire, he locks.
But listen, you who are tamed and tied:
How long will devil destroy you and deride?
Subject your soul to the Savior's side,
And He will right reward you with a free ride.

THE PREY AND THE BAIT
Before and beyond time
Not one man will make a case
For such a pathetic story
Owing to self bigotry
You complain by the day
You murmur by the noon
At twilight, you sob by the way
And lament at the fullness of the moon
Yet, you transfer the blame
You’ve become a prey in the game
You often pray to maim
Yet, the bait has made you lame
Left at the mercy of the hunters
Oh! You have too quickly forgotten
When you gullibly devour their meal
To you it’s just a sumptuous meal
At least not to them
You are but a chicken being bred
Their champagne to you is ‘ultimate’
At a toss, their grain is yours
Like no tomorrow you lived
But here comes the day of reckoning
You’ll not only pay through your nose
They’ll suck you like a hose
Your milk, fat and blood they’ll drain
Like forever it’s not going to rain
On you they’ll make a full gain
And you’ll dearly pay for the grain

Gullibly naively dumbfounded over generality,
Undeniably stated amongst the general masses,
There in lies promiscuity in propriety,
Between all levels of the social classes,
Unfortunately this is the distinct similarity,
To which each bird will hum,
At loss from our original integrity,
We desire the untethered skirts and rum,
In this midst there is the risk,
From all societal standards,
To be brisk in this bountiful frisk,
For this society will ban herds,
But atlas cornered in this flask,
Is the unmistakably genuinely truthful covenant,
Between a graciously compassionate deity to his cask,
In which everlasting love is abundant,
In the event we break this pretentious mask,
Unraveling the bondage of our contempt,
In this glory we could bask,
But in this attempt we will be tempt,
Traveling this road is truly hard,
Disheartening at times but promising in signs,
When goods turn to bads and to marred,
We turn to whom created this immaculate design.

Wonderful wool patterns
On an old man
So obsessed with numbers
He loves enlightenment
And is gullibly glib
The bruises on his brain
Were well-earned through hard work
This space is lined with books for walls
And the titles which I can barely pronounce
A rigid motion around the room
Utters I’m getting too young for this
