It wasn’t clean at Calvary,
no tidy hill-top site,
neat-kept and swept
where tourist cameras
crowd
wide-angled
in the holy sweat
of multi-pounded package tours.
It was a common place
of cruelty,
and blood,
a skull,
Golgotha death
and mocking hate
and sorrow deep-confused.
In retrospect,
a place of wonder
infinite,
for here
the eternal God,
forgiving,
gave his life
for me.
“The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

For me there's only just one faith,
Christ him Crucified,
For in God's Son, all victory won,
The day my saviour died.

untended urgency
unequipped for service
ungirded for battle
utterly regretful
unattainable prize
unretrievable loss
unquenchable laments
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?

Today’s decisions,
determine eternity,
for our later life.

This is what the local examiner preaches
Lynchings, or killing someone by hanging, historically were mostly used by whites against black men in the South beginning in the late 19th century, according to the NAACP.
Below my reply in comment
How they twist words to suit narrative, lynch mobs were a common practice in Ireland and many countries all over the world, so selectively do you promote division black or white this article is racist bias in content promoting hate
Liberal has a new agenda when it comes to the truth being told
for what value it holds someone has to correct fools
lynching is as old as warfare itself virtually

Construction Tips
It doesn't matter how fine your house.
Or what kind of trips you took.
What car you drive or how much cash;
The Bank records in your books.
How famous you are will soon pass away;
And you will be yesterday's news.
Your beauty will fade, and you hair fall out;
But what of the choices you choose?
There are things that we do that last longer than death.
That don't crumble and don't fade in time.
There are decisions we make that are not for ourselves.
There are mountains that we need to climb.
Light up the way for those in the dark.
Strengthen the weak and forlorn.
This is the reason you walk among men;
The reason for which you were born.
Invest in the lives of the people you love.
For generations yet far to come.
Live such a life that they'll follow your path,
And of your harvest they'll reap the sum.
Build for you must, it's the way of all men;
But hold to these principles fast.
Build the things that matter the most.
Build the things that will last.

Poetry transformed
Vibrated through
microphones
Ladies don't
give away your moans
freely
Entice with your eyes
come back
In nine months
full of surprise.
Nothing could be better
than creating another you
You and I, the gospel truth.
If you don't mind
I'd like to preach
about it
for an hour or two
While your
eyes unfold
the greatest gift
my ears have ever heard

This is a Rondine in pentameter
Never say never my darling Betty.
I think past sweet words have been a good start
and know they’re ingress to a woman’s heart
Would you like to rest on this soft settee,
there is no danger its firm and steady.
Gospel truth, in pantsuit you look so smart.
Never say never.
I saw you, dear, at Tavern Gramercy.
In Effie Silk Dress you were piece of art,
I could have torn your lucky date apart.
The Maitre d' had your table ready
Never say never.

When in this wicked world
My peace of mind suffers cardiac arrest
Curled, hurled, unfurled
To wolves whose snarl can't rest
Until my courage they tear
Bringing my citadel to its knees
In my heart they dare
To inject fear, plunging my vision into seas
So deep my courage can't swim
Broken and forsaken
In a whim
Badly mistaken
On my wobbly knees I bend
Asking God why
My precious dreams flounder, to somehow end
Up in a teary cry
Torn to shreds
Stillborn
Battered on wanton beds
Teeming with scorn
Driven by envy and jealousy
In circumstances where complicity and duplicity
Know no mercy
In my vicinity
I shake my head, proclaiming 'Devil, you're a liar'
Plucking up courage with renewed vigour
To steer the focus of my thoughts clear
Of the illusion that mistakenly I believed held the Gospel truth rigour.

In a perfect world
there would be no war
no disease and no pain
in a perfect world there would be nothing that would make
us feel like the worlds gone insane
in a perfect world we would be free
in a perfect world for you and me
there is no perfect world since the fall of man
a lesson we have all learned
but everything will be perfect when Jesus has returned
on his arrival things will be as they should be
in a perfect place with him both you and me
