Precipitation continuously falls
Nary dry spot upon all the walls
Stuck inside in the dark gloom
The gramineae's glume
Untouched though.
Tombs'
Far below
Vaults deep in earth's womb
Caskets drenched may flow in flumes
Nothing can stop the rainfall or stalls
Precipitation continuously falls

Matthew 23:27-28
New International Version
27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

I sit in solitude, with the moon as my light,
its fickle glow obscured by calico clouds.
The air feels heavy
as silence adds its weight to the brumous glume.
A bloated bullfrog croaks curses,
failing to attract an empathic ear.
And the blahs block the twinkling stars
upon this desolate riverbank;
as if they no longer existed!
Oblivion is the prize I seek
in my tug-of-war between dream and reality.
I spy a ring of ripples in the inky waters,
and suddenly, swans swim into the moonlight!
Alabaster sculptures carved into the night;
their innate beauty touches my heart.
A smile uplifting my spirits reignites the candle of hope.
They're such a delight! A vision strong enough to break
the chains of depression;
like sparks in the dark, where once I saw only darkness.
