Ribbit

Froggy went a courtin',
"Ribbit," he did sing,
altho' singing weren't his thing,
more like the punchline to a joke,
'Please don't smoke or I might croak.'
In the deep end of the pond
true love was his goal,
and by the dawn help to spawn
a few more tadpole souls.
Hopped on to a water lily
where he espied
a fine-looking froggy filly,
and in her mouth a red, red rose,
but wait, something's amiss,
one quick kiss and he froze...
just when he had it in the bag,
oh what a shame, ain't it silly,
our frogly friend hit a snag —
for the she was a he dressed in drag.

Premium MemberFroggy and Dan

Froggy pulled the cork and it made a loud bang
The rest of the party yelled “oh my!” and “dang!”
Champagne for everyone, he yelled into the fray
Liquor does not suit me said persnickety Kay.

Kay would ruin a party no matter how much fun.
She always brought a dourness to try and pull the sun.
Froggy rolled his eyes, irritated he had to invite her.
But his mother had insisted, this was his only bur.

Ignore her, said his wife, pull another cork, old man.
He pulled another cork and yelled at cousin Dan.
Let’s light those fire works and really celebrate ’25.
Now things were cooking, they were truly full alive.

Premium MemberFroggy Bottom Chorus Line

Froggy bottom chorus line was jazzy and smart
They obeyed with rhythm, they bogeyed with heart
They brought their dance routine to a whole new art
Choreography of their steps, courtesy of leader, McLart
This boggy chorus line danced nearly off the chart
Every one of them, even smart little missy Tart.
I was mesmerized said my dour cousin Bill Bart.
Best of all was when the whole line began to belch and fart.
Scaring flies who did not know which way to dart

Jumping here, jumping there,
Little froggy green,
Without fear, without care
Jumping like a bean,

Dancing here, dancing there,
Singing ribbit song,
Full of cheer, full of flair,
Dancing like King Kong,

Croaking here, croaking there,
Having fun around,
Call its peer, call its pair,
Croaking in full sound,

Leaping here, leaping there,
Happy as can be,
Froggy near, everywhere,
Leaping 'neath the tree,

Hopping here, hopping there,
Look at me hopping,
Froggy dear, froggy dare,
Hopping like a spring.

 One Froggy Christmas Eve

A Frog went a-courtin' one Christmas Eve
Arms full of flowers for his latest squeeze
She is a sweet tiny mouse who's named Jane
And lives in a tree house down Mouse-Hole Lane.

He held her tight beneath wintry moonlight
But then it snowed mercilessly that night
Jane got buried in snow, Frog went berserk
Waiting for his dear sweetheart to emerge.

Frog croaked all night, such a pitiful sight
Wondering why for him nothing goes right
Then bells from afar brought hope to his heart
‘Twas Santa arriving on the sleigh cart.

Santa came trudging along though the snow
With his troop of reindeer helpers in tow
"What's up Frog" Santa Clause clothed in red said
"My girlfriend Jane is under snow lain dead."

Santa chose Rudolph the strongest reindeer
To start digging carefully around here
Rudolph stood proudly puffing out his chest
Pleased to be asked, assuredly said “yes.”

Rudolph used his red-nose to dig up snow
A faint little voice squeaked "hello, hello”
It was mouse Jane, she’d come alive again
Making Christmas merry down Mouse-Hole Lane.

Froggy

Froggy with his eyes wide open
Met Ms Froggy full of hopin’
Had a basket on his arm
On his way to Ms Froggy’s farm
A baloney sandwich made with care
A chicken leg that they could share
Strawberries and a watermelon
Milk – about a good half gallon
A lunch to share with that young Ms
And maybe then to share a kiss
A pink bowtie this frog was sportin’
Back when Froggy went acourtin’

Premium MemberDo Frogs Wear Froggy Dentures

Remember back when you were a kid
Every day was a wonderful adventure
Exciting things to explore and investigate
Do frogs have pearly white dentures

Or why do elephants weigh so much
Weight Watchers might do them some good
What about a nasty old lion's bad temper
Did they not have a loving childhood

So many questions, I'm full of questions
Like why are most horses so nice
They never get upset when a bridle's put on
But heard one kicked a man twice

Then there's the sweet old teddy bear
Some have vowed they've never heard 'em talk
I got news for all you doubting Thomases
Sometimes they even go for a walk

Found some hootch down in the basement
Twenty-year-old brandy I suspect
When I sober up and read what I wrote
Might swear off the booze by heck

Sweet Nectar

Not as much
where could it be
sound right
but something might be
fishy
congratulations: if it works!
keep up the good work
and don't get hurt
take sometime to check it out
look into what you're doing
tell me what it's about.
I hope in the end
you can say,
I did it all, I did it my way
keep your head up
watch your friends
it's easier to get if you let them in.
maybe you can find some real one's
let your lady, be your wife
tell you right, to make sure you're right
take some time to relax yo' self
don't rely on someone else
and in then in the end
pour a glass for me
we can toast your best
with some bubbley
click the glass and say a toast
to the person of the day
the one we love the most

Froggy Love Song

A young green frog
Strumming on a log,
His warbling sounds
Singing words of love.

Strumming and a crooning
He warbled long,
About the moon and the stars,
In his lovebird song.

He also sung about
His wetlands home,
Singing and a plucking
On his swampy roam.

Taken in by the sounds
Of this sweet melody,
Another green frog,
Swaying in her tree.

Love arrows bounced
Between the two,
The pounding of their hearts
Just grew and grew.

Now they sit together
On a large lily pad,
He now sings songs,
About being a dad.

He tunnelled inside, and went into slumber

Froggy

Once upon a time, I found this frog,
It was so cute, sitting on its log.
Ribbit ribbit it spoke to me,
Its words depressed anyone could see.
Ribbit ribbit it spoke again,
For it was asking to be my friend.
So I picked it up, and gave it my heart,
Until one day something funny would start.
Ribbit ribbit it wanted a kiss you see,
The funny thing is it wanted it from me.
Grosse I thought I cant kiss this frog,
That was all by its self sitting on its log.
Days went by, we were still best friends,
Until one day to the forest froggy I would send.
So I went back to the place we met,
And on its log, froggy I set.
Crying I told it I have to do this,
Isn't being free what you wish.
Ribbit ribbit it replied, it hopped on my lap,
And started to cry.
I set it down, back on its log,
And broke down and kissed my friend the frog.
I stood up crying, and started to walk away,
Until I heard a voice trying to say.
Hey come back, please don’t leave,
I turned around, what was before me I couldn’t believe.
The frog was gone, before me a princess,
And we've remained lovers ever since.

Premium MemberFlaws and Flawless, Froggy and the Prince

(Froggy)
His  big crooked smile; the bump on his nose;
His extra large feet with short stubby toes.

Eyes sort of popping beneath eyebrows bushy;
A spare tire middle with such a small tushy!

His loud guitar music; his funny guffaw;
His love poems so cheesy that fill her with awe;

His spending too much to save any money
Because he likes always pleasing his honey.

More froggy than prince, and odder than odd,
But that’s what she loves; he’s perfectly flawed.

(The Prince)
His brilliant white teeth; the cleft in his chin;
The beautiful body; the unblemished skin.

His elegant style; his baby blue eyes,
Manicured nails, costly suits and nice ties.

His house and his Benz; his deep golden tan:
All proof he’s a go-getting clever young man.

The many smart things to the right people said;
His time at the office so he’ll get ahead.

So seemingly flawless he just can’t see why
His girlfriend ran off with that flawed froggy guy!
