Boy my writing is pale stale tonight
Despite this still it gives me delight
What is it about selecting a phrase
That keeps me preoccupied for days
Is it the hope to craft and create
Something new despite old ways
To fondle fuchsia ideas into new
Tasteful thoughts of teal and blue
In a writer's block you’ll find
A new idea in the darkest mind
A blank canvas like an empty page
Will soon bloom with creative space
I slipped through reality,
In a threadbare dreamscape, stitched with denial.
Just when I thought,
I was over it
It came back to haunt
to show me how I cannot escape if my mind doesn't
They say faded memories don't taunt you.
But when they do
I leave everything behind
Even my conscience to-
Run away to hide
in the corners of my own faded
memories.
Just when it felt like home,
With all the secure moments
It was shattered down witha subtle-
Almost subconscious blow and just like that-
It was taken away from me.
The smell of regret grew more heated
As my despising of this reality grew tangled with my will to live
I decided to not go back
But all I did was escape to my own created reality.
But my reality collided with the ruins of my made up-
Memories.
Now?
There's a war going in my head.
Now, where do I run to?
I’m a free spirited woman you silver see
So it is a goal to write free poetry
Love the style when done well it’s unique
Makes me smile inspires indigo peace
Like a wild flower in the blue breeze
This windy style from me seems to flee
Why can’t I catch the bug for free writing
Is it like falling in love while red bird sings
I’m emerald envious of poets who esteem
Writing in free style like spreading wing
While my mind unwinds a while rhyming
Like a brain on training wheels cherry cycling
Free style writer’s tell me one teal thing
How to make fire with white word bring
My hope of free writing to life from dream
Leave me a comment jump start my trying
I had an idea for a poem
To let my mind simply roam
But it’s not really my cup of tea
And why on earth is it rhyming
I really want to make pancakes
But it’s too early yet too late
And my thighs are a giveaway
For late night snacks of past days
My poem cemetery isn’t too full
I should add this it is bull
But I’m bored and so it stays
My next poem will hopefully be great
Finding liberty in a blank white page
Requiring imagination like adding sage
Emptying my thoughts my heart’s desires
Embracing my challenges feeding the fire
Winged white words please take me away
Red song bird sing a song of fuchsia faith
Inspire me to grow to be better than before
Teal ink flow landing upon poetic shore
Interesting characters from my pink brain
Needing to give voice to thoughts insane
Giving green escape to innermost pain
Green as a new leaf
Green as in envy
Green as your emerald eyes
So green they hypnotize
Green as a celebration
Esteem and anticipation
Green as fat frog on log
With a new mating call
Green in a race
Green in a face
Green a happy day
Green my nappy faith
Green an invitation
Green a salutation
Green as a new truth
Green in love of youth.
