Green Free Writing

Green as a new leaf Green as in envy Green as your emerald eyes So green they hypnotize Green as a celebration Esteem and anticipation Green as fat frog on log With a new mating call Green in a race Green in a face Green a happy day Green my nappy faith Green an invitation Green a salutation Green as a new truth Green in love of youth.

Such a vibrant color! You have woven the hues and shades quite amazingly touching on so many things throughout your poem Karen, like a tapestry, all in threads of green! Awesome! :) <3

Sotto that is kind of you. But I think you see what you are in me as a mirror. I am not brilliant but I admit to having a passion for poetry. We both love it and so writing comes with challenges but we meet them as we are given ability by God. Hugs

Whoa you’ve highlighted and touched all aspects of green seamlessly! I love that. Especially the opening lines and also how you’ve written “‘so green they hypnotize” ah something about green is so inspiring and deep! Very well delivered with exquisite rhymes.
