Flowers stand
Stretching to meet rays,
Which nurture and replinish.
Winds blow,
Bending and flexing stems.
Roots rest,
Nestled deep in the earth.
Comfortable, content, in its place.
Eyes for beauty glance and beam.
Spring is here!
For me alone,
Colors blanket frozen ground.
For me alone,
They birth new beginnings.
For me alone,
God has given all another chance.
I bend,
Kneeling beside one
Which I've chosen.
I rip it's roots
From it's survival.
Torn roots, broken stem, loose petals,
It is mine!
Fraile only after moments,
I toss it away
And choose another.

As i sit here peacefully, In the warming glow
Feeling safe from the heat, of what seem's
to be the sun. then all too quickly, it begins to fade
I feel cold from the hours spent swimming,
swiming in the graying shadow's, of your memory
The shadows cover the valley's, you've carved deep
into my soul.
As i melt into the cold depth's of time,
i become weak and fraile
I begin to drown in the dark tides
The one's that roar from the deep reache's of my mind
I try, and I try, to see your face, the harder i try
The more i think ,the more i think, the less i remember
the less i remember, of you, the more it hurts
When it hurts, the more i begin too know
Your face is there , then it too , starts to melt
The more it melts the deeper, i drift.
I feel for your hand , but i can reach only nothing
Than finally, the pain of numbness comes
It rolls out in long waves, from the empty cold,
darkness of my torn mind
I see you become less and less, until finally,
you are no more, a shallow ripple in my mind .

Life is like a flower, delicate and fraile,
Showing many colors, but often looking pale.
It's fragile stems, linger all about,
Hoping like it's roots, love will sprout.
Blossoming in the morning, by the suns golden ray,
Opening to the danger, to make it through the day.
