Scruffy, fun and most dear,
I hold memories of you with a tear.
Your wonderful mix of heavenly colors.
Made you a special dog, like no other.
A Wild Haired Fox Terrier were you.
Honestly, I wished, I had not one, but two.
Frolicking, running and sunning!
A young poetess’s life, blessed with funning!

Recalling being age seven, at breakfast around
the white, oval wood kitchen table.
Sitting on a telephone book so as to reach the
table, I was not able.
Mom, of blessed memory and always a fresh
tablecloth, newly pressed.
Nobody in leisure clothes allowed, so we all
were fully dressed.
Only the small radio played soft melodious
tunes,
Music that today, nobody could even croon.
My frisky wire-haired fox terrier played with
his toys.
Breakfasts, decades ago that I
both cherish and enjoyed.
Faces of sun and peace, in my memory live.
The early days of this poetess, her happy,
precious retrospective.

My dog, Happy, was a a Wire Haired Fox Terrier.
To Happy, in life, there no was such thing as a barrier!
Twas a lesson for me, I think, looking back,
Let nothing stop me from forging ahead.
Not people, not fear, nor doubts.
Just get off my duff, stop sniveling,
And leap out with joy out of bed.

A competition was held in Bulgaria
to find out which girl's legs were hairier.
The winning lassie
beat a huge chimpanzee
and a wiry old Irish Fox Terrier.

Today the sea is angry , whipping up the waves in a energetic frenzy
The relentlessly pounding waves have eaten deep grooves where
once were gentle slopes .Waves slurped back like withdrawn tongues
Its also the Soccer season and late night revellers rejuvinate by the sea.
Sunlight shines through the transparent blue-green rising curling waves
The crashing waves rush forward pushing wave after wave of bubbling froth
Frothing with anger leaving trails of froth upon their return to the sea
The sand is dusted with wind resembles the rippled sand dune patterns
Flocks of seagulls teem gliding above in the chilling wind unperturbed
A dog, a cross between a poodle and a golden retriever comes bounding
Its long shaggy fringe framing bright eyes and pink panting tongue
plays with a mini-fox terrier in season with the ball on the water's edge.
The two curious of one another interlace running and wading rythmically
the waves crash and pound around them.
