I came across a daisy
That made me think of you
Even though you're my sister
Our friendship surely grew
When I look upon the daisy
With its sunny hue
Reminds me of your smiling face
The happiest person I knew.

At the age of two
In my eyes u grew,
From a baby to a teenager
And now to a stranger,
Its only memories that are left
To such an extreme depth,
How do we depart
And make a new start,
Broken we are
That you are too far,
We never expected this day
And that’s all i am going to say…..

We took the bus together,
And arrived to a weather,
It seemed cold as space,
And hard to find a sleeping place. ‘Twas post UME.
Again from the same purse,
We boarded the same bus,
Took the shuttles,
To our hovels.
‘Twas registration.
To a dear friend,
And cherished,
Loving elder,
Beloved sister,
‘Tis bon anniversaire.

She sits upright smiling
With small talk prepared
A tear in one eye
Running fingers through her hair
Pride for her husband
Pride for her son
Pride for her home
For herself exists none
Admired, adored, respected
With knives in her back
She hides the longing
For the happiness she lacks
Mental persecution
Overpowers her positivity
But somehow she finds strength
To sit upright smiling
With small talk prepared
A tear in one eye
Having everyone fooled
And def to her internal cry...

pretty amazing to behold,
once of a llfetime story never before been told.
behind all the biggest miracle:
there is a woman in every age,
blessed above all the rest of the mother's,
from the beginning,
ever since time began,
you journeyed and fought a good race,
besides everything that we do,
you are a mother, wife, sister, aunt, and grandma,
because of you,
I am not lost.
you found me on low,
you stood by me in every hurt that I cost.
mother of all heritage,
you beloved are a blessing of all miracles.

She tried to play him for a fool
Thinking everything would be cool
Now he'd have to break the rule
She changed up his whole mood
Her sister was so rude
Acting somewhat crude
Sick to his head he wanted her to stop
Lash her head onto a rock
And make her skull crack
He never loved her sister so what
Now she wants him to do crap
Keep her sister in a wrap
Theirs no way he'd do something like that
Because one of her relationship flop
Pain is something you gain
Love is something you obtain
He can't go around playing that game

Hey little girl!
The day you were born, all of us knew that you were no ordinary.
You had this divine fire in you that let the universe bathe in your light.
You were one of the strangest of the miracles who could bring life
in a flash of brilliance with your smiles even after perpetual darkness.
Look at that crown that stays perfectly on your head,
You were never the damsel in distress who needed to be rescued
For you were the Queen herself.
Unleash your sword and steady your crown, every time it tilts,
After all, you are My little sister.

O Grunge Princess, I know today your love
brims over, idle, for the rebel boy
like weed you keep, unsmoked, sitting among
your secrets in a box; the smells they cloy
and force you into longing. Come what may,
Space Mermaid, your boy is just a dream.
He's not your happiness, nor is the way
he makes you feel--this illusion may seem
absolute, but first loves often do.
I know I cannot sway you with my words;
just remember: moments fizzle out, but you
will yet remain, just like your box of herbs.
When you learn to walk alone in power
your enigmatic buds begin to flower

When you lose a sister there are no words to describe,
The emptiness and pain your heart holds inside.
Your best friends gone in the blink of an eye,
Without any warning she has just died.
Remembering the past as the years drift through,
It seems they would get easier, but they never do.
The only thing that will really keep you sane,
Is knowing in heaven you'll see her sweet face again.

We are not related, but you are always there
To lend me support, I’m so lucky that you care
When my husband had surgery and was so very ill
Your friendship was amazing and you are here for me still
My family in particular gave me so little support
You stepped in with shopping and little gifts that you brought
I have found a true angel and her name is Chris
If I could chose a relation then I'd have you for my sis
We can’t choose our family but we can choose our friends
I hope our friendship lasts forever until our life ends

She is not a supernatural
All she is - a being of morals
She is not invinscible
Yet, She can be divisible
A shed light in a darkened room
An inspiration to a person in doom
A transformer in many things
A quiet fighter in anything
A sister she can be
A friend she can be
A mother she can become
A baby she can come
A casual smile she can release
Giving someone a sudden bliss
When tear pours and uncease
It weakens or ruins anyone's peace
Indeed, she is a supergirl
On whole wide world at twirl
Independently ravaging
Graciously empowering

What do you do when you've lost it all. You're sister, your friend and now you. I feel like you're not the girl i knew, the laughs, the girl that smiled. It's all gone. had my best friend and I don't know who this is. The memories. But now the pain. You look the same. But on the inside, the lies. I feel like those eyes are laughing at me now. The smile is fake. Who are you? Wheres that beautiful girl i once knew. The one that always stuck by my side, no matter what went on. You always had my back and now I feel like theres a knife in it. I miss the smiles, the laughs. The long nights, the long drives. I miss you..but you're not you anymore...who are you....I'm sorry....I think I love you

I wish people would quit picking on my sister. She is a wonderful writer and I know her
work is dark and creepy but that is who she is. She writes to entertain and to take you
places that make you uncomfortable. If you read her poems and you get the chills she has
done what she set out to do! If it creeps you out to much then when you see the name
Illyanna De La Keur then don't read it. This is a place where we all can demonstrate our
creativity and I would hate for her to remove her work and quit writing. Illyanna is a
writer that is an acquired taste and if not for her and my other sister I would never have
explored my own talent so please lay off on telling her to change her subject matter.

She says she doesn’t
Doesn’t believe it
Love is impossible
Everyman she’s dated
All minds were deflated
All they want to do is bump and grind
You can read between the lines
You really know what I mean
Sexual gratifications
Never a vacation
All they want to do is bump and grind
You know what I mean
She is more than just a object a sex toy
She’s somebodies sister, daughter
So in remission
She awaits marriage
Maybe one man will have the courage
To do his husbandly duties on the honeymoon
Cause nobody’s gitin any sugar in their Kool-Aid tonight
Well praise God (Go sit on some ice boy and take a cold shower)

Tweety, my little sister.
Tweety is a perfect twitter.
Whole day fluttering on my ear.
To know my secrets, she is always eager.
She is a big-time dodger.
To my privacy, she is the only intruder.
At just twelve, she can make my life hell.
My clothes, my heels and every little fandangle,
Silently flips into her dwell.
LOL! I suffer from Tweetyphobia,
she tells me, it was easy for her to discover.
Hahaha, she knows! She knows, my rantings are pure love for her.
Entwined emotions, we are inseparable sailors.
My cutest cuddler. The cutest little creature.
When I feel low, she is my favourite healer.
I wish this great camaraderie grows deeper and deeper
Love your beyond limits, O, My sweetest sister!

If you have not read my "Girl Rising" poem
please read it first. Thanks I appreciate it.
Rise up from your chair
Do not be complacent
Do you not hear your sister
She cries out for justice
Are you being raised to be her jailor
Who has fed you a pie filled with lies
Baked in the pit of hell
Coated in religiosity
Served with justification
The contents poisoning your mind
Destroying your soul
Rise from your chair
Stand with your sisters
Beside them
Not above them
You were not born to be master
Their time is now
Stand on the side of freedom
Education
Equality
That time is now
One day
You will raise daughters
Give them a new world
Filled with possibilities
Limitless
Strength
A world you helped create
All because
You stood
You said
Enough
The time for change is now

Funeral.
A young man died in his sleep he was 49 years old, with my aged eyes
he was boy too young to die. I don’t know the medical reason for his
early demise, think it has to do with burst blood vessel in the brain.
I went to his funeral last Sunday it was a sunny noon and thought at
least heavens could have cried. I didn’t know him, but had hoped to
meet his sister, whom I adore, telling how sorry I was for her loss; but
the whole family was there in common grief, I wouldn’t intrude in their
unhappiness. I spoke to a friend of hers and asked her to extend my
concern, I wanted her to know that I had been there to show respect
and that I cared. But could not escape the gnaw of guilt in my heart,
hadn’t it been for her I might not have attended.

"Vicissitudes into Light"
You are another world
away from me
stretching far from
his insanity
Diving into a new
Light
Dimensions that
are the truest You
From the dark deep
Ocean of sinking blue
Reach on the wave
in my wake
I gift to You
You are stronger
than all of his
bluest blues
broken egg shells
ladders in stockings
hyena in the corner little
Jack now crying
in his new freedom zoo
no ladder required
transparent
You have grown
wings to fly
Open Sky
for You
Little sister
Vicissitudes into Light
Open Sky
for You
Into day
Escape dark night

Having ambivalent feelings
about going on the blind date,
and hearing a lot of arcane gossip,
I decided to get ready at any rate,
My sister being sick and insisting I take her place,
feeling like it was an immolation in any case,
dressing to the nines with my lips a luscious red,
my Mom my intercessor commenting on my threads,
Suddenly the quiescent was broken by the door bell ringing,
I opened the door to a handsome flamboyant man singing,
smiling widely and smelling the quintessence of his cologne,
I could tell he was tactile while helping me with my coat,
Taking me to a restaurant where I seldom did eat,
afterwards to a moonlight stroll which was a treat,
driving me back home we laughed till tears fell on our cheeks,
walking me to my front door his kiss feeling oh so bittersweet...

Epitaph

Forever held in heart and mind
Day by day for all my time
Unjust, unfair and so unkind
Wishing this life could just rewind.
Never fathomed such lonely times
When you and I could not confide
Hopes and dreams which cross our minds
Our greatest fears, regrets and binds.
I know you now watch from above
Forever sending down your love
Spirit soaring above like the holy dove
And when I slow, you give a gentle shove.
In time I know we'll meet again
Your wisdom guides me through my pain
As rays of sunshine that break the rain
Somehow I know it's not all in vain
Yet, still I wish that on this Earth you did remain.
Dedicated to my baby Sister
Kali Raalene
Taken in form
Everlasting in heart and mind.
There are many who will always love you for who you were and how you touched their lives.

Louis Rams is celebrating the Queen's birthday.

"in honor of the queen"
ARETHA - the legion
I woke up this morning with Aretha on my mind
one of the greatest singers of our time.
she started singing at a very young age
inspiring people while on stage
every song that she would sing
to many people ' tears " she'd bring.
her life will forever be told cause
she was born with a heart of gold.
at her concerts the crowds would scream and shout
till the moment she opened her mouth.
then she would pick up the Mic as ' RESPECT'
took to flight.
then she sang ' I SAY A LITTLE PRAYER "
as her voice filled the air.
her 2014 concert at the white house
gave president OBAMA chills and his spouse
when she sang Amazing Grace as the tears
rolled down her face.
( she was one of the best selling female artist in history
- with 15 million records sold worldwide )

Woohoo who
Little girl can't you see ( yes )
That you belonged to me
You belong to me,
oh little one darling
Can't you be
My only flower
Be my victory yeah hey
I'm surrounded by your blossoms
And the fragrances you wear
I can tell by all the conditions
Well well well
Feels like cool water is coming out,
... of a faucet on a hot summer day
O and little darling, little girl
I want you for my flower I want you for my world
Oh can't you see
yes darling you you you belong to me
Like the foam on top of a root beer float
Like a comedian telling audience a good funny joke
you belong, you belong you belong to me oh yes
You are my world and you you you girl
Belonged to me
Like a baby needs his mother
Sister needs her brother
Like cereal and milk that you put sugar on it
Like, like the leaves on a tree
All this is meant to to be
You you belonged to me

Cakes of Love
Coconut macaroons she sold the nice little girl at the cake shop,
I was eating macaroons every day, but Sundays when the shop
shut and I pined for Monday. My sister said I was in love with
the shop assistant, which I angrily denied I never spoke to her
except placing my order of seven coco macaroons and I avoided
looking at her. Everything comes to an end one day she wasn´t
there so I didn´t bother asking for my macaroons, bought a loaf
instead… But coconuts followed me around in Jamaica I used to
drink its milk early in the morning before going on board to start
the tedious work of making breakfast for a sullen crew and I was
smelling of fragrance of love made in nights of succulence
Years roll on bloody unstoppable; whatever I do there is always
be a boring Sunday, followed by the promises a Monday brings.
Fifty years later I met a woman of full years her father had had
a coconut farm in Congo and like me she love macaroons.
