Because I am a girl,
I'm dissuaded from learning about science,
dismissed, ridiculed, shot down.
Because I am a girl,
my mother had to teach me how to wield my keys as a weapon
in a world of men she doesn't trust.
Because I am a girl,
I will have opportunities denied me.
I will be scorned when I speak up in conversation.
I will be thought of as less, and why?
Because I am a girl.

From the dangers of wilt
From the perils of guilt,
Hardened heart traps,
Rotted soul snares
Troubled eye glares
He shall believe in your beauty
Setting fires to your infinity
He toils and turns to you
Bestow her the means to bloom
Prove to her the sure science of Love
Give her reason to return in your arms
Hold her to your story
Voice the untold allegory
From the fate of death,
Quench her eyes with
Blessed beams of divinity
She will reassure your doubts
What remains cannot break her
The torrents of turbulence are ceaseless
The nights of woe are sacred and ageless

Am all empty inside without you my heart is lost
Remember the day you saw me and I Saw you
Our lives now like a pair of shoes am left you are right always
Lets take walks then and smile for miles
Inside our heart two in one lets not make a crack
Never should we hurt never should we spite
Everyone alone in the world but with you I never walk alone
