There’s a lizard in our house,
At the last there was a mouse.
And we called the mouse Klaus,
Now there’s a lizard in our house.
Soon there will be a roo,
Koala, Possum, Emu too.
Swear it’s really true-
There’s a lizard in my shoe
A lizard in my shoe
In our house.
There’s an emu in our car,
He’s playing his guitar,
He thinks he’s a big star
The emu in our car
In our car
There’s a wombat in our school,
King parrot makes a rule
‘No wombat in our school;
This is birdy school

There’s a dingo on a boat,
A possum on a float.
Koala writes a note-
I’m in a life…coat
Please dingo stop your boat
Ding stop your boat
Stop your boat
Above goes flying fox,
In his orange jocks
With stripey coloured socks
Coloured socks
There’s an echidna in the pub,
Hugging witchery grub
Platypus guards the door
Croc is on the dance… floor
Doing a little dance
Dancey Dancey Dance
Dancey. Dance
Preying Mantis serves up drinks,
Southern Cross looks down and thinks…
A cat sat on a buckaroo hat
A hat that was not a hat
but a Flying Fox bat,
A bat like a hat
that was not a bat
but a Spacecraft
from the planet Cobalt…
Can you just picture that?
This story is as simple as that,
A Spacecraft like a bat
Slick, smooth and flat
with a cockpit and all that
and a cat from the planet cobalt
in an outer space, as far as that…
There’s more to it than that.
While chasing an alien Rogue Rat
in and around the galaxy and all that,
Cat Cobalt in the outer space got lost
in the rat’s extraterrestrial habitat…
Now, what’s up with that?
Here and there, with this and that
From beyond yonder just like that
Poor Cat Cobalt on our Earth fell flat,
No ceremony and no welcoming mat…
Oh, who would ever want that?
To get back home this resilient cat
with one purpose alone and that’s that
He rebuilds the broken Spacecraft
with the help of one domestic cat
and goes back home to Planet Cobalt
Now no one knows where it’s at…
This ends the tale of the Cobalt cat!

Apon the ocean a wave does ride
Within the water the ebb and tide
A fish will swim in depths within
This is how it all begins
Apon the land a cheetah runs
Within the land a mole has fun
A flying Fox comes out at night
The moon will shine until daylight
Up in the air an eagle flies
Within the ground a body lies
A flower blooms and birds will sing
These are just a few small things
Mother nature she is all these
From little insects to giant trees
The sky above the ground below
Just some of nature's exotic show
Tiny little Pardolate,
meets giant golden-crowned flying fox.
He asks- "Will you fly me to heaven?"
She shows no-acquiesce....
She spreads her wings towards the chaste.....
and he runs away
