Fight Night

The full Half of me wants to empty this clip of aggression
The empty half of me wants to light a candle that matches the aroma of my favorite snack and genre of movie
Looking through the glass of the unknown but the window is fogging up
My patience is almost up and it's only Saturday
I'm trying to let my drowning mental catch up to relaxation but it's already Saturday
Why is it whenever you have time to rest you spend time recovering so you never really rest or get ahead
So tread lightly it's halfway through the weekend and since Monday I've been on the edge
Sleep deprived mixed with a little bit of crazy and I've almost lost my edge
Life puts you in the ring and knocks you out if you're not prepared to fight
p.s. shots fired on Saturday Smackdown...

Dirty Words Hatch Fight

Hard blows traded in pitch-black night:
What do you expect? Funny fight?
The lips of the young devils tight!
All Blacks who’d seen films of Sir White,
In which men fought and forgot flight…

Speedy entry of teeth that bite:
From pain one of the Blacks turned white.

Still, exchange of blows at the site!
They had agreed “Till night says ‘Light,’”
Their eyes confirming a sky bright
And - just like that - gross shows of might;
No lip to take up “What is right…

Dirty words just hatched a night fight
Three lives: the chicks lost to The Kite…

Will He Love Me

Will He Love Me
By Charles Gerald Patrick Chard 2nd
Gavti Hanita Hazaka Abir Selek 2nd

Will he love me in the morning?
Will he love me through the night?
Will he love me though I scorn him?

Will he love me though we fight?

Will he dance with me in song?

Will he need me all the day long?

Will he show me his kindness?

For our love should be timeless?

Will he love me in sickness and in health?

Will he live me in poverity and health?

Will he love me now and always?

Or is it just my passing fase.

We had gathered 'round the radio, to listen to the fight
A dispute ensued, punches thrown, a bloody fight

Cigarette butts strewn across the floor, some stained in lipstick- red
A broken ashtray by the door where some blood was shed.
By an old typewriter something shiny lay
A gold earring, lost in the fray

It was a helluva fight,
 Max throwing lefts
 Joe countering with rights
Not to mention our own lefts and rights
But it was Max who wore the crown that night.

Two years later I bought an airline ticket
To see the much anticipated rematch
I thought Schmeling would retain the crown
But my hopes were dashed when Louis ended it in one

A few years later the world was at war
I found myself on a distant shore, fighting the Nazis ......

Blood and gore, horrors of war...

Dead bodies strewn across the fields, stained in crimson red
Broken dreams lay in gutters, where their blood was shed
