Familiar Setting

A place where people can connect is home when the world seems cold and lonely.

Family stands together when the sun is shining, the moon is glowing.

With an unconditional love that is more than overflowing.

The center of their well being is unity and understanding.

Flying on that plane we call life with a perfect landing.

The bond should never be broken and the love they have for each other should be
unspoken.

Today stands and tomorrow is unpredictable so we must be with our love ones every
chance we can.

Sharing the happy moments with them and helping them through those rocky
mountains and those heavy storms.

Without any hesistation bonding with one another should be our destination.

Familiar Setting is always there to make us be at peace leaving our heart at ease.

Little Ones

I don't have any kids.
But I want to talk about what my nephew and niece did.
I love them with all my heart.
And I get sad when we are apart.
My nephew's name is Javi.
He looks like me and people ask if I'm his daddy.
We are stuck to each other like glue.
He cannot talk yet and he trys but I don't know what he is saying not a clue.
My niece Cianna.
She is bananas.
She is the love of my life.
For them I would die.
I love seeing that sparkling in their eyes.
I would do anything to have kids like them-Mario Perez

Premium Member My Patchwork Quilt

Patchwork quilt, upon my bed.
Made with love, needle and thread.
Bits of fabric from worn out clothes,
cut into squares, to be sewn.

Hand stitched together, day by day.
In the evening, after dishes are put away.
An hour here and an hour there,
slowly transformed, with love and care.

My Great and Grand Mothers and my mom,
worked together, while singing songs.
Their pitch was off and no note was carried,
but that beautiful quilt sings of love and is cherished.

A Mothers Limits

Now, I love my husband an awful lot
But his cantankerous side is not so hot

We tolerate each other’s choices
But Football is a ‘no’ my inside voice says

Personally, I have a fear of ancient twisted trees
I WILL close my eyes, so guide me under them please

My children are like a heard of fighting elephants
There’s only so much my ear drums can take of their shouts and grunts

My parents are great, (now my head can't find a rhyme)
But I’ve have heard their stories from long ago one hundred million times!

The love I have for my loved ones has no limits at all
I will always be here with opened arms to catch them if they fall

So, football, twisted trees, fighting elephants and old stories
I have my limits I truly do but would I change things? No not really!

Shameful Lady

You made a life of one I love so dear
Your not to be the one for him to fear
You all condemn him for all what he has done
For a young lad the bad things were nothing but fun
Your not maternal, you ring no more
The lad is awaiting for you at his door
Never come round to visit your son
What he wants is his only mum
Putting him down makes you feel so relieved
I tell him what you say is never to be believed
You announce “fairy legs and carling cup ears”
Your son has a complex from all his childhood years
How dare you lady, for what have you got
A massive stomach and that’s the whole lot
So you and your special children can all go wild
Whilst we sit in love awaiting our first beautiful child

Welcome To the World

Welcome to the world dear one
And to our home of love
We know you have been sent to us
By our Father up above
For nine long months I carried you
Safe inside of me
Now as I hold you in my arms
What a miracle I see
I see your tiny hands and feet
Your eyes so bright and clear
I feel the love you have to give
When I hold you near
One day I'll have to let you go
And watch you learn to fly
Then I'll look up above the clouds and see you soaring high
Of course you can't start out that way you'll have to take it slow
But know my love will follow you no matter where you go

Broken Soul

Can't sleep
Start to weep
As i hang my head in sorrow
Wandering how I'll even make it til tomorrow

My grandfather died
I sat and I cried
Emotions on the floor
With an emptiness inside

Wish I had one day
By your side I would stand
And tell you that I love you
While I hold your hand

No one will ever care
As much as I did
Great memories I have
Since I was just a kid

I know that you are gone
But you will never cease
Just want to say I love you
And may you rest in peace

Warm Hand

Fire burns the physical
But does it burn the heart?
Is so lovely to know some ones there
Is alive and warm to feel it there
For when is gone i have another coming
Mother i love you
Even trough good and bad we've been
Even we do not speak again i remember good old times
Were singing was our hobby
Brother dislike me playing so much around the house
But yet i agree to keep on
He yelled at me and i use to say
I do it because i love you
Then he smiled and now i know
Father was never part of my life
But i still love the way is been
Is not like i didn't needed him but yet i didn't
If it wasn't for him i'll be so mentally weak
I know how it feels
I know how it is sister
So young and pretty now she sings goodbye brother
I love my little family
For now im alone home and four walls
Painted in white all i see is flash backs
I just wish those times never died
Now to never regret and to know how it is
I love the way it's been
Im alone now
But life ain't that hard
Is just a riddle to unlock
I love you guys
And hope someday i hear same evern when i fade from this thin world

Brother

My brother,
My little brother.
He is everything in my life.
Even though I may not show it,
and he might not know it.
I love Him.

Even though you are tough to handle,
I manage.
I may be threatening,
But that is an act to hide,
That I truly love you.

He is a super charged atom,
Full of energy,
He is about to burst.
I may yell,
But that just means that I love you more.

I asked and I received.
You are exactly
The brother I asked for.
I wouldn't have wanted it,
Any other way.
My brother,
My little brother,
Connor.

Love,
  Tayler
You are as carefree,
As I hope to be.

For Kayleigh

The doorbell rings and there you stand
With cheeky smile on lips and in your eyes
Long ginger hair contained by Alice band
Unbridled joy I feel is not disguised

No age since you came upon this earth
An oasis in the storm of life’s woes
Too young were you to see or feel the hurt
Not knowing that to God one love must go

We gave you all our love and then gave more
Did not regret one second of that time
You repaid our love one thousand times o’er
You made our world a haven so sublime

I see you now leave your youth behind
And amaze with the passing of each year
You will always in our memory be enshrined
Granddaughter fair truly loved so dear
