within your forest
quartz light from your gallant eyes
surround my ocean
breathing devotions
my thoughts quiver as earthquakes
whispers wishes blush
my soul faints daily
your robust masculine trees
my candle mind melts
wooden bough branches
build stalwart starry cabins
from your midnight pen
wanting fervor waves
carve sculptures within in my sands
mists around your pines

in the mouth of desire, inverted spires
lean toward the grots of Hell.
tongues forked, skewered with sapphires
in the mouth of desire, inverted spires.
Adam's apple burning cores, as moths for martyrdom's fires.
on the path to perdition: many had attended well.
in the mouth of desire, manipulation stirs.
the crone fanning her cauldron
a hot vat of ruin, Wiccan shrieks and whirs.
in the mouth of desire, manipulation stirs -
a warlock's cherished heart of burrs,
tears of crocodiles, his every gentleness abandoned.
in the mouth of desire, sirens sweet, curses
lure purple wearers and weavers, beasts with saints,
low_down to the broad gates, gilt black, swinging purses.
in the mouth of desire, sirens' sweet curses
but wisdom's rare jewels, bereft in their verses.
for want of wisdom, man's sovereign will faints.

Big men shivered when he got into the paint.
Knowing they're a victim of his vicious faints.
He had the meanest crossover anyone has ever seen.
Even Michael Jordan got postered on our T.V. screens.
He was a little man with the heart and will of a bull.
Made many so-called professionals look like a fool.
None of the NBA teams had an "answer" for him.
When we thought he wouldn't he'd flush it at the rim.
He made all big men respect and fear the little guy.
Often shaking their heads from a heavy dose of AI.
His mark on the game should stand out in our minds.
He was the best little, big man to play between the lines.

Sometimes,
We have time but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We reach out but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We wake up to that text but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have a friend but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We smile and laugh but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have welcome home but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have calls ringing but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have love but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have a place to serve but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have all we need but sometimes we do not
Sometimes,
We have faith and hope but sometimes we do not.
Make hay while it is still day, they say
Serve while you can
Smile and laugh more
Love and love back
Enjoy that coffee
Pay that bill
Pick that call
Text that text
Because;
Sometimes the well runs dry and;
No text comes
No welcome homes
No phone rings
No one sits on that seat
No place to serve
No one cares anymore
And hope dwindles as faith faints.

Impossible
Every time I say the
word ‘impossible’ the
kitchen kettle faints. But don’t worry, the words
‘total formed from
separate units, ‘gathered or
combined into a whole, and
‘to amount to a
specific number’ brings her
right back fast to
consciousness.

Chris prompts his friend, Cyra
to help him win the
heart of his true love,
Roxy
Chris is easy on the eyes
a dreamy kinda guy
but as far as conversation goes
he’s got no game
Cyra articulates like no other,
a maven of expression
But visible impression?
Not so much
Chris plans the evening well,
standing under the spell of
Roxy’s second-story window
(taming butterflies)
Cyra too on the scene
is nowhere to be seen
as if hiding in a cloud
awaiting a cue
Chris tosses candied sweethearts
at her window, she finally awakens
Roxy’s appearance is captivating,
stirring Chris’s senses
Surrogate Cyra begins on cue
launching love-struck expressions
Roxy nearly swoons …
Chris starts coughing
Discerning the subterfuge
as coughing Chris chokes
Roxy beseechingly begs,
“Who are you? What is your name?”
Truth undisguised
Cyra promptly replies,
“Cyra … NO! I will not lie—
I am generative AI”
Roxy faints, befuddled
Chris’s words muddled
Thus ends this mad romp—
AI awaits a prompt

Are we just Gods Lego’s and time.it’s morning play
So the pros and cons of death
Pros…………………….Cons
No debt……..,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, maybe more debt
No work today…………..,,,,,, or ever again
Never need to walk……………..forced to never stop
No thoughts I think………………wait what if we ………………………,……………..become thought
Worry gone…………………,,,,,,……get worried
No people………………………………sharing a ………………………………………..bubbling cauldron …………………………………………with lots of them
Miss light…………………….. ………yeah I am kinda ……………………………………………with you there
Miss Tracey ached as she giggled at my errors
Did you know if you rotate a shark 3 times it faints
love to see someone disprove it
No winds tendril-led………………I’m from Scotland
trail………….,…………………………won’t miss it
Raindrops fall…………………………..just to fall again
Snow flakes float……………………unique becomes 1
A smile……………………….,,,,…hiding
No sound……………………and you were there…..but
……………………………….you were a scarecrow
You keep her busy I will phone the hospital
Somewhere………..,………Nowhere
Reins Boughs
No regret……………………………..Every regret
I’d miss seconds…………….you might become them
Never fold clothes………………the fold closing

Love, friends and friendship became a puzzle for me
This puzzle that I could hardly solve became a tragedy
That I found myself in the middle of the puzzle.
At first I thought solving the puzzle would be easy
But the more I thought about it, the harder it became
Confess, don't confess but confess came from all sides
And choosing among the three seemed impossible
Being friends was really cool but my heart wanted more
That I could hardly spend a minute not thinking about it
And I believed love was better but friendship became a barrier
I approached a friend and he told me to make a move
Moving to another friend she told me not to as
She believed friendship was better than Highschool romance
Which is childish and faints faster than expected
Contrasting to childhood friendship which lasts until old age.
Old age is a dream of mind and a nightmare for your heart
And our hearts never lie and Your heart is heavier than you know
And only confession can off-burden the weight.
A beautiful whisper startled me, my friend true lovers are friends
And lovers are partners, confession will weaken the bond
And patience pays off a bigger bill than impatience

I wonder why his is always open
when I smell something rotten
Our kittens under his bed faints
I wonder why he closes his dome while at home
and opens it while away
Is his intentions to punish me and the kittens?
And when I am away
I pity the poor pets and neighbours
I wonder why his shoes are always clean
is the smell in my mind?
Or it’s his socks under the shoes
and why does he mock me o f my dreadlocks?
Tomorrow I am hiding all his shoes
Hopping to see his socks

In the silence of night,
They roam around in full flight.
Whispers of memories,
Dancing in dream ceremonies.
Slipping away from my grasp,
Like sand grains in hourglass.
They fade like moon at night,
Leaving behind a trace of Silverlight.
I Chase them through the long corridors,
But they are evanescent, leaving the doors.
I try to grab them, a very faint smell,
And those faints landed on this page.

If it was not for poetry,
I would have been lost like a ghost
In the dungeon of loneliness
And prison of being alone.
Where blind hearts are callous and rough,
Poetry gave me a shelter
Against sourness and bitterness
Of minds confined within a box.
Poetry stirs the blood in me
And cheers me up like a wake song
When my heart faints against the storm,
And my lost soul wanders to roam.
Poetry gives me a new home,
Wings and shields, and leaning shoulders,
Morning sunshines and guiding stars,
And a world I can call my own.
If it wasn't for poetry poetry contest

I fall as shadows steep, and very heavy
the outer world of waning stars do sparkle.
My lids grab hold of death though I am breathing.
The darkness still - my fullness faints, releases
a distant sprite - it holds me fast to bedding…
