Premium MemberI Plucked The Moon From The Sky

I plucked the moon from the sky last night.
No one else seemed to be using it
So, I thought, “Why not?”

I mistakenly thought it would fit comfortably in my pocket
But, it bulged, protruded, and made it difficult to sit!

“Stupid moon!
What good are you?” I grumbled.

A TV news anchor rattled on about
Potential collapsed ecosystems, climate chaos, and mass extinctions.
All around me
Would-be lovers unraveled their arms and parted ways and
Dreamers no longer looked to the sky.

“The world has gone mad,” I muttered.
“But, at least I have this shiny rock, even if it IS a pain in the rear.”
However, it kept tugging, pulling, and wouldn’t stay still.
Determining it not worth the trouble,
I relinquished the object to the night
And went to dwell in a crazy world.

Seen Said Sown

Seeds Of Life
Are Everywhere,
At Least From Here
They Are…

In My Eyes
Up My Nose
Crawling On
Your Skin And
Clothes…

Resilience Somehow
Manifest
Here And
Nowhere Else.

Only Ever
Realized
By Us…

Are You Special Yet?

***

Evidence Of Mass
Extinctions Aren’t
Really Very Rare…
But Here We Are
And This Time We
Notice…

What More Do You Want?

***

We've Looked From
End To End
To Find Another
Healthy Womb...

Well, Some-Body Has
Now Some-How We
          Know...

Try That With Only
Cosmic Star-Dust!

***

Seeds of Life Are
Nearly No-Where…
Only Here Inside
Our SOUP…

Declaring
Residence And
Resistance…

Sustaining Every Conscious Array…
Infintessimal, Extra-Ordinary,
Wavering Persistance.

Premium MemberWhere are We Going?

Hunted, gathered,
Now, humans reign,
Produce emissions -
CO2, methane,

Absorbing heat,
Driving storms,
Breaking all the
Climate norms.

Glaciers retreat,
Ice declines,
Ecosystems
Intertwine.

Coral reefs die as
Tipping points are crossed -
Mass extinctions,
Thawing permafrost.

Collapsing currents,
Can't count on
The rainforests of
The Amazon.

Infectious diseases,
Food and water scarce,
Should have honored
Agreement of Paris.

That's where we're going
But I have no fear.
My kid can worry.
I won't be here.

Credible education
To tell us how.
Behavior, policy -
The time is now.

Dying in the Moment

In the language of Spirit
it is said: “that we must die before we die.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the language of Sprit
it is said: “that we must die before we die.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It kills me,
a lot of things kill me.
I mean the kind of ‘killing’
that blinks you out for a moment,
that kind of little death.

Such instances can be exquisite,
like when your life unlatches,
you stop in mid-throttle,
halted upon a careening mania.
There are no increments,
no gradients,
you just jump out of yourself.

A powerful ****** can kill you
with one thrust of bliss.

Holding your baby for the first time,
a sudden inexplicable gnosis
obliterates your present,
past and future.

Writing a killer line in a poem -
that can kill the reader
for a bitty twitch of time.

Those quiescent extinctions happen,
in a single tick of abeyance,
transient wipe-outs
(too abrupt to me measured),
when we forget
to be both happy or sad,
in nothing-flat
we have ceased to be, we succumb,
only to return.

Between each taken breath,
these little deaths may, at any time,
undo time,
revealing much more than we,
the living,
might care to admit.

Premium MemberSacred Lines and Circular Spaces

Minds can draw dividing lines
in different natural spaces
sacred special uniting places
for secular powering chases.

Nature makes poles
and power polarity,
holes
and light circularity,
bright yangs
and dualdark yintegrity

Which spirited minds refine
and natural bodies define
but integrity is not image confined
by these cooperatively determined lines
back through universally wealthy loves
uniting healthy interweaving lives.

We make cognitive distinctions
between quiet emotive attractions
and loudly ejaculative extinctions,
where feelings find
finely balanced tipping points
between what whole has been
and who will yet consecutively
consequentially become
spaciously reappointed

As we undivided are
whom we have been
and much
much potentially more

Beyond our favorite
bottom line integrity
privileged score,
healing Earth sacred weal

Wealthing wikitheistic wellness
when we stop drawing only straight
unwavering lines,
monotheistic bipolarities
to addictively adore.

Premium MemberNonchump Change

My problem with change,
it seldom presents our whole systemic bill,
our full currency required,
including Other ecological costs.

My theological change issues
are in Win/Lose and Lose/Lose
degenerative economic directions

Unraveling cancerous erections
eruptions
extractions
excommunications
extinctions of natural species
and spiritual beauty
and truth objectives
and cooperative subjects
co-invested in political trust,
in health/wealth bicameral development,

Secularizing autonomous ZeroSum
LeftBrain dominance
and not enough sacred polycultural NonZero/One
RightBrain ecosystemic prominence

Of nonviolent
eco-political communication,
relationship,
integrity's therapeutic change
toward interdependent balance
for polyculturally health wealth

Of polypathic
metabolic multimathic experimental thoughts
with imaged feelings
for improving Earth's cooperative health
and co-invested economic safety.

Haiku

flora washed clean
by torrential rain
extinction event

one inch of rain
in one hour
fledglings starve

my eyes wide open
watching helplessly
mass extinctions real

swallows swift martins
gone at my location
the sky washed clean

Haiku

o the joy of
summer sunshine on my back
yet i drown in sweat

-----------

this summer heatwave
the death of so much life
we are all guilty

----------

still hearing nature
screaming for much-needed help
mass extinctions real

Premium MemberWildlife Loss

We profit but dismiss the cost,
And continue wiith our plunder,
Ignoring wildlife being lost.

We forget mistakes of the past.
Perhaps on this we now ponder.
We profit but dismiss the cost.

Extinctions now occurring fast,
And we are the main offender,
Ignoring wildlife being lost.

An evil spell we now have cast,
With our poison spread asunder.
We profit but dismiss the cost.

Our populations now are vast.
To claim land, forests we render,
Ignoring wildlife being lost.

More climate changes are forecast,
A carbon footprint reminder.
We profit but dismiss the cost.
Ignoring wildlife being lost.

Sumatran Elephants

Sumatran Elephants, are critically endangered
and there are local extinctions, in many places
as it is humans, who have willfully managed
to invade their territory, not leaving many spaces

Nearly 70%, of the Sumatran Elephants great habitat
has been totally destroyed, by the now known human rat
in just one generation, over two thirds of lowland forests
have been willfully razed, for business corporation profits

Humans have built, many pulp and paper industries
and constructed food generation, from oil palm plantations
creating animal, human conflict, over elephant territories
as the destruction of their land, is for human consumption

Only the male Asian Elephants, have those mighty tusks
and this makes them a be target, for the illegal black market
This cuts down their breeding, as they need a lot of conceiving
because the evil bloodline of money, is what humans are greeding

In Australia’s darkest hours,
an ever-growing pyre
breeds a conflagration nation.
desolation, ruination
ravaged seas of deforestation;
extinctions’ ignition
bleeds deadly
perdition.

Were Mother Moon habitable,
 the Koalas might escape,
scamper, flee
finding solace within
her refulgent body,
borne upon angel wings.

Premium MemberFuture Fossil Fuel

When a meteor struck earth, all of the dinosaurs died,
as did pretty much almost everything else alive,
leaving millions of years later and abundance of fossil fuel behind,
which we have exhausted to almost its limit at the present time,
all while destroying our precious planet that provides all of us life,
causing global warming, polluting our water and our air at its most fatal height.
I believe that the following will be our future sadly,
be it somewhat poetic justice, and in a sense irony.
We are going to be the cause of our own and other mass extinctions,
and as surviving life evolves again well into the years of millions,
we will then be the fossil fuel for the next intelligent evolved generation.
I can only hope that potential intelligent specie will evolve much more wisdom.

A Dedication To My Muse

Precious Lady… my muse
Your words amazing…
But you paint the ideal…
I see it… feel it… broken
I pray… oh how I pray
That what you write
About nature… wildlife…
Oh how I wish was real

I see for myself…
In my locale…
Many wildlife extinctions…
It's not my intention
To spread doom and gloom…
But unless folk
Are made aware…
We do face annihilation

Me, I’m just a messenger
I pass on what I read
And as I said…
Some facts…
Based on what I see…
Our leaders only thoughts
Self-gain, they're in denial
Yet the world cry’s
For its survival.

Oh my blessed muse
Please don’t desert me
I live my life from day to day
In anticipation
Of your inspirational poetry
Your verbosity
Your every word
Enthrals me…

I live in hope
That one day we…
The world… will see
Your poetry realised
Arabian stallions rampant
The magic of your jungles
Desert life… amazing
Write on my muse
The world is waiting

Earth's Dying

A rhyming wave, Earth's dying now!
Yes, dying, dying, dying now!
Yes, we can stop it, yes, here's how
Yes; don't pollute, I plead!

This is fact! Not a warning, heed!
No warning, warning, warning, heed!
Ten extinctions per day, indeed!
Ten! Yes, forever lost!

For the rich, no life, bar theirs' cost.
Yes, bar theirs, bar theirs, bar theirs cost.
All life is cheap, they've hearts of frost.
All life, they will soon learn!

With climate change, all life will burn!
Yes, life will, life will, life will burn!
It's time they learnt how to discern!
Pollution will kill all!

A rhyming wave, Earth's dying now!
Pollution will kill all!
