Exordium Poems | Examples

Exordium

Caution may vary to some of society
but what happens when the words you write or speak
cause confusion to those who refuse to dig
like when a dog dig's for it's buried bone,
whether you are serious or silly,
you can't deny you have felt pain before.

Exordium

The beginning of anything,
Or the start of something new.
Tonight is the night,
She will make a grand debut.
There will be glasses filled
With champagne.
And at midnight as she arrives.
All over the world,
A toast will be made.
She brings with her so much
Opportunity for each.
For some it may be love, money or
Success.
And for others, it's a new lesson she will teach.
So as we gather and wait, the crowd cheers and the countdowns
Begun.
A few moments later....... HAPPY NEW YEARS ACROSS THE WORLD TO EVERYONE!
GOD BLESS 2016.

Green Eyed Monster

Hent my heart from wandering concepts of affection.
Recant the murmurs of insecurity that riddled my temple.
Like a slow wound toy awaiting release from a child's grasp and attention.
Toss and birl, whipsawed into the oblivion of life's gamble.

Take away this wretched knife in my side.
A knife that twist with every incantation.
Those bastards! Jackanapes! Stirring in the tides.
Exordium! When I appear to disappear. Insouciance!

This tires me into a gaumless breathing, beating whole.
Furl all I can, these product of fallibility and madcap.
As I breathe deep into a bibelot diamond. The centre of my soul,
I feel the urge to plotz from reminders and blankets.

As I indite a subtle line of assurance. I contrived.
Culling into materials and conversations. I quelled.
Forgoing this disposition. Finally, Peace has arrived.
Retribution in it full essence. Salient though dishevelled.

The Overheard Talk Between the Mind and the Body

The Overheard talk between The Mind & the Body.
To long we’ve been apart, torn apart from the words that the lips of humans use to speak.
Inches apart, separated by a barrier of eye, nose, lips and listening holes that they call ears.
What happened to us? Weak is we have become separated from birth to live under a curse. No special techniques to make them more unique.
Livers rotting, hearts deterring, kidneys shrinking, why does the eye in the sky keep on blinking? Or are you sending a message from the un-readable passage.
How to cheer when I constantly live in gear, white substances destroying kids (cells), pills making me very ill.
It beats and beats and they don’t know why it beats they just like the way it sounds that’s why they tap they feet to the invisible beat.
The un-seeable eye is, not called the third eye it’s called. The Monad (The One Eye), keep the secrets locked for a race that don’t know how to appreciate the exordium of being alive.
When the organs die they will come face to face with (The reflection of oneself).
-The Overheard talk between The Mind & The Body.

Xiv: Vehement Condolences

Darest V.C. –
We all heard of the flute of the regency,
Tho’ it told of a few in the house-pital:
Yet we know it was the exordium!

Darest V.C. –
Tell the vergers of the gods,
The forest is expecting
The full exegesis of the gods;

She was heir to the heavy blows
– The heinous death of the sons –
The mothers & the concubines sigh
For a loss of kindred tears,
And restless fathers hover in waiting forests.
