The Bells

I hear the church bells ringing
They are calling us all home
For he has an open door
In this life that we roam

Those bells sound out to all
Come meet our precious Lord
If you feel that tender calling
The ship is here, so come on board

For I heard those bells so long ago
They called deeply to my heart
He reached out and touched me, I heard His call
And now we'll never part

So this I sing so you will know
That calling you feel is real
If you choose to follow the King of Kings
The devil, your soul, can't steal

That tug on your heart is Him dear friend
Don't turn your soul away
For tomorrow is not promised
When He is calling you today

Oh the gift of that sweet calling
The love and mercy it brings
I shall forever stand for Jesus
And in my heart those church bells ring!

rhythm of Earth the Touch of God

Oh gentle breezes blowing
Oh mighty waves of sea
Touch my soul and stir my heart
Draw me close to thee

For as the gentle wind does blow
I close my eyes and feel
My God reach down with his dear love
And know He is so real

Or standing on the sandy shores
Looking out across the sea
Watching the mighty waves roll in
And feel Gods strength in me.

For Nature sings a precious song
One of grace and peace to all
It surrounds us with the Love of God
And fills our souls with awe

We do not see the God we serve
Or touch Him here each day
But he talks to us and walks with us
And guides us along the way

Nature sings His song brand new
Each day that passes by
Telling us that His Love is near
Just listen don’t ask why?

For as the wind flows across this land
And the waves roll into shore
His faithful love is shown to us
And we need nothing more

So when you feel the gentle wind
Or watch the rolling Sea
Look to God and give Him thanks
For His love surroundeth thee.
