LALIBELA

Thousands of miles above water
Lies a marvel too holy
To name
And too beautiful to deny

Carved from rock, a city of faith
Where hands of devotion shaped stone
Each church a whisper of eternity
Each alley a hymn in shadow and light

Pilgrims tread the worn paths
Their prayers rising like incense smoke
Windows frame the sun’s gentle kiss
On walls that have held centuries of hope

Lalibela, where earth meets heaven
Where history sleeps in quiet majesty
And every stone speaks of a people
Who dared to dream with their hands and hearts

Here, time bends,
And the soul remembers
That beauty is both sacred and human
And wonders are born from belief.

Premium Member Greece and Ethiopia

Greece and Ethiopia have had unwavering and unbroken
bonds of friendship since ancient times.
Greece is the land of freedom and democracy, also one of the pillars
of worldwide civilization in all sectors
{philosophy, poetry , art etc.}
The great ancient Greek poet HOMER is frequently refereed to Ethiopia
in his masterpiece ILIAD.
Even the name Ethiopia comes from an ancient Greek word
{Aithiops} which means a sun-burnt face.
The source of the blue NILE is in Ethiopia, the only country
in Africa which was never colonized by western powers, with
its own ancient language:{Amharic} and history.
The predominant religion of Ethiopia is Christianity which was propagated
by Apostol Mathias. God Bless Greece and Ethiopia!!

CULTURAL RICHES

From the ancient kingdom of Aksum
To the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela
Ethiopia's cultural wealth shines bright—
A droplet of wonder on history's umbrella.

The harmony between graves and crosses
Speaks of a rich and diverse heritage
Iconic biblical scenes, the Waaqeffanna of Oromo
Elevate Ethiopia's cultural legacy.

Ethiopia is indeed rich in culture
From the intricate rhythms of Eskista
To the cultural mosaics of the Tigray—
Every artifact, is gold in itself.

Beauty

Beauty
Beauty is not about being beautiful
 It is about being respectful
Beauty is not about your skin colour
 It is about your heart
 It is about your faith
It is not about your face
                                                       or about your money
                                                       Beauty is about your kindness
                                                       It is about your loyalty

 It is about your inside
It is about your true self
It is NOT about how you dress
It is about how you look inside not outside
                                                       Being beautiful doesn't have
a meaning if your beauty is
                                                       only in your face
if you have no beauty in your heart'
It is hard to define beauty for you
 If you as why?
 It is because
 Beauty is you in you!!!

The Semien Kingdom

the Semienite kings erected stelae
to the kingdom of the wrestling with God;
Ethiopian hinterlands ruled with the iron fist of Judea,
the flag of Magen David swaying in Abyssinian winds.

Judit?battle-hungry commander of war,
panzer-woman of Scriptural Armageddon!

the queen casts her leather noose
and steers the forces of Beta Israel
into a battle of redemption and of honor
conducted in a strong and Hebraic iron tradition
not even a Holocaust could ever quell!
