The Change In Us

Settle in
Let me take you on a ride of a lifetime
The twists the turns
The fears we all have
It's a game of chance
This life we lead
Oh the dips the crosses the estrange
We all walk amongst the Graves
We ponder the conclusions
We captivate the creations
It's all around us this carnival of chaos
The clowns come running
The lions are roaring
We all want you to hear the screams
It's not for the fate of heart
It's much more then a ride
It's a discovery of uncharted land
A key to our emotions
A border for the strange
It's gamble on us
A bet for our riches
It's a common place
But yet so unfimiar
It's a realization that we control this ride
We take it in stride
We watch it go faster and faster
The days of our lives how do we fill this ride
How do we get pure satisfaction
We buckle in and enjoy the ride
Because in the end it's all about what we have become and how we navigated the change in us.

Colour isn’t the same at the early dusk
It changes in different light
A smile doesn't shine on the same mask
When its fading out of sight
Who knows why memory can change
The pictures of the past, well-known
Friends turn out and estrange
Strangers I welcome to my home
Why should it go this way or that
In the microclimate of the soul
As if it hadn't been done and said
By anyone awhile ago.

Greed

Greedy, bitter, jealous, and lustful women with free range
Unfortunately the masks are off; they will be treated estrange,

Impersonating many people with prideful alter ego capacity
Self absorbing made them all grin and behave with audacity,

The investigation warrants for a list of charges and sentences fairly
The tables have turned over abruptly loud and unceremoniously,

They never expected major setup setback or down spiral luck
Never reaching a feeling of remorse, now quacking like a duck,

Let this be a lesson for those control by that alter ego
That quick scheme thinking leads to a horrid prison expo.

Squeeze Play

Squeeze Play

The sun and the moon.
They play their tune.
As we dance along.
Thinking we know the song.

But the rhythm changes.
As the days estrange us.
We try to keep time.
With what's left to rhyme.

Our senses pay expenses.
With heart felt defenses.
Not knowing the cost.
Of what's left and what's lost.

Hope and faith get's misconstrued.
When good intentions become crude.
And we are left with nothing to say.
As life works out it's last squeeze play.

Premium MemberSecondhand Smoke

"Long has My grace been proffered
Long has intercession been offered
Short is My space for repentance
'On my terms!' frames their resistance

'Tis not I who needs to change
Defying My terms will estrange
Worship Me in spirit and truth
Stop treating My words as uncouth

My Vineyard I designed to produce
But not all of My grapes have juice
These are destined for destruction
They refuse to obey My instruction

Secondhand smoke provokes My eyes
Their sacrifices only antagonize
Their outcome has been decreed
Curses will pursue their seed

Their toxic smoke is spreading
The effects of it - upsetting
False gods mislead and blind
Fulfilling the devil's design

Blowing immoral smoke in My face
Masking deceit without disgrace
They have earned My displeasure
I'll punish them in full measure

But My good grapes will inherit
As joint-heirs, they'll share it
They truly love and obey Me
Becoming My priority

I'll restore the Universe for them
New Jerusalem from every kind of gem
Justice and righteousness prevail
Secondhand smoke is a devil's tale"

ESTRANGE CHILDREN

Parents aren’t perfect
They’re human being to
They make mistakes but
As long as you weren’t abused
In any kind of way and you had
Food, a roof over your head and
Wasn’t forced to be a parent
To your siblings
And some of your needs were met
You’re bless, because every child
Don’t have that luxury
But to be judge because you
Wasn’t cuddle enough or you
Didn’t have your parents
Undivided attention or designer clothes
Is a crock, it’s so many excuses
If you’re a 25-year-old adult
Or older and your
Parents can’t tell you how to live
Your adult life
How can you expect them to
Take care of you and pay your bills

    Change, watchword of our time
      Change without reason, capricious crime

    Reform, reconstruct, recast, revise
Change for change-sake – foolish, unwise

    Alter, adjust, adapt, amend
Constant change blurs to no end

    Transform, transmute, transfigure
Change, all jolts and jarring triggers

Change, our brains from our bodies derange
Change, our souls from the cosmos estrange

rot

I no longer know where to find me
I wish you didn't leave me here to rot
No matter how much rubble I force myself to pull up
It has sunken too deep, shattered too fine
The shards you once called my heart
Put me up in a museum, call it fine art

Modern day galleries, full of nonsensical ideologies
Kind of ironic your favorite field was anthropologies
All you had to say was you couldn't help me
There's so much fine detail within you I'd love to abirritate
Today is a day of loss, every moment a minute to commemorate

I take the people closest to me to those spots we only knew
The memories I create with them will never surpass the ones with you
But day by day it's like my mind flips in estrange
Moments I shared with you are plastered with their interchange

Sertraline, Fluoxetine, Fluvoxamine
Shame it never compared to your dopamine
Never had to worry about your bioavailability
The only cause for concern was how much I craved it from you

I wish you never left me here to rot
Please, I'm begging come to my door and don't stop braying
Awaken me from my nightmares, you don't realize how quick I'm decaying

Premium MemberYou are the caressing silence, a silver star in the pure night

You are the caressing silence, a silver star in the pure night,
The world's secret, a deep sea that carries me, full of magnificence.
The more you estrange yourself in your veil of mystery,
The more you become my dream, the pearl hidden in darkness.
You, cold moon, yet luminous, with rays that fall upon the crown,
Speaking in whispers, voicelessly, over the jadestone sea.
Sometimes I feel how you stealthily approach me with gentleness,
And you rise in my heart, a fragile morning star at dawn,
An unspeakable longing, with wings of wind, that flies through my dreams,
You, a trophy guarded by the night, a splendor that reveals itself late.
And again I confront my passion, my battle is a storm,
Like the waves that break against your secretive shore.
And in you, I cherish the coldness, the fierce beast that tears at me,
Which with a raw beauty, shines at me and wraps me up.
I'd like to break your silence in half, to have you only as mine, tranquil,
To lend you from my fire and to keep you in eternal light.
But you are free, you are the necklace of the skies, the long strand of stars,
And each distant step turns you into a dream and overwhelms me, surreal, with them.

Soul Psychology

Souls are assigned an agenda of purposeful worth
People meander meaning as a purpose of birth

Souls are here to experience emotional exchange
Our confluence with drama deceives us estrange

Souls are magically magnetized by a soul mate
We are nostalgically normalized by a sense of fate

Souls originate the love of unconditional designs
We preference the path of traditional blood lines

Souls are altruistically giving without reciprocity
We are unforgivingly taking without virtuosity

Souls live eternally in crossroads of evolving time
People live once in the genes of diminishing prime

Premium MemberThe Red Bow

The red bow was tied; a marriage dance
They fell in love at first glance
The groom and his novia—bride
Only knew what they felt inside
When two hearts who decide
The winding roads of life’s plight
Prevailing winds take flight
Blind faith takes its place
A muted warning of losing grace

Echos of freedom’s uncharted change
Anger, jealousy, and pride estrange
Unrequited lover’s inner challenge
A viper’s spiteful poisonous syringe

Coasting to a motionless throttle
Left only a note of evince in a bottle
Floating then anchoring deep in the ocean
The voyage ends, as does devotion
Dour hearts battles vincere
Never more to each other sincere
¿ Salvar el amor?
Betrothed no more
The sea breeze’s goodbye
The red bow is untied

*Save our love?

I Dont Think I Can Change

I don’t think I can change;
I’ll find doing so strange.
I would reckon the range
Of things to rearrange
Age-old thrills for good bye:
Telling of a half lie,
Dislike for a brown tie,
After half glass deep sigh
A morning’s mouthful cry
Followed by a smile dry

Do you still want my change:
Wrongs just fail to avenge?
Won’t it me just derange:
Like wives husbands estrange?

Not a full cracked fellow
But one others keep low
Or take for The Hollow…

I don’t feel I should change
Before a planned revenge

Premium MemberFor Oscar On His 10th Birthday

Child of sun and sky, child of isle and sea,
the moon and stars to light my earthly trail -
his the taken road, the unmapped journey,
  his the unwritten Oscarian tale!
When beyond mortal youth this world you quest
  leave behind unworldly comprehensions -
seek it wide, seek it wise, and seek it blest
  and beseech its higher interventions.
Long may the Muses sing when your heart sighs,
true your lyre echo, your mighty bow draw -
estrange yourself from the Gods in disguise
and believe in you and all you care for.
When the blast of heavenly trumpets come
yours eternal will be a new kingdom.

Out of the Picture

Questions are piling up,
we part ways in just a snap.
Blame is on my head,
while I lay in this tiny bed.
Still keeping you a space,
as I focused you in my gaze.
But you just walked through,
whilst I restrain myself to pursue.
Why the sudden change?
Why the need to estrange?
Where did the jokes went?
Now I write to express lament.
Maybe it's time to burn this bridge,
Oh heartbreak is such a .
