words can be snazzy, sparkly and fun
they can uplift and enlighten
they can hurt and destroy
they can turn into party animals
wearing colorful ensembles
they can entertain and entice
words are more versatile than anyone else I have ever met
maybe that is why I love them more than most people
but certainly not more than I love my dogs

Winter whirling anxiety upon silent, shadows light sleeping from dawn to dusk.
Sky smudged in a raven haze,
mist lining paths with a silver shade.
The emerald sea freezes like a pastel ice ring reflecting intimate lies.
Feathered snowflakes tumble into glistening grief,
palls waving goodbye to soothing sentimental zeal.
Rays of serenity sailing into slate sooty showering puddles,
As the chilly wind swirls smiles into frosted hazardous glares.
Birds singing of hope in the bitter crispy darkness;
chirping melodies till the sunrise awakens from its slumber.
Melodies reflect on the familiarity of childhood dreams,
Endeavouring to glow their light upon sorrowful eyes,
striving to colour an ebony horizon with copper clouds.
Children assembling polar alien figures,
snowmen sink strife with whispers of secret sunrise.
Superficial ensembles stir up veiled laughter,
Horror of trauma rest’s it’s weary tears as hands throw ice in delight.
Windows alighted with reviving candlelight flames of jubilant joy.

Ballet of the Stars
Breath of the galaxy spins the night sky
Over the magic of midsummer dreams
Legends, lovers, pirouette through the night
Sculptures of fire carved with airy light beams
Dances l’etoile sparkle winter rondeaus
Gossamer nebulas leave stardust veils
Ensembles of stars in stellar tableaus
Costumed in lightness made of starry faille
Astral ballets dance on ebony stage
Patterns of stars in place in this dark space
Stage left then stage right arrangements change place
Celestial performance – rotating grace
Star-spangled glitter on star twinkle toes
Scrim curtain rises on nighttime’s light show.

Brahms pushes a piano into my ear.
I hear the stool creak as he sits.
He does not introduce the music,
he expects me to remember it,
know it, eat it.
He lights up a Havana,
clarinet and violin cough
inside a woody cochlear.
Viola takes hold
of a long nostalgic ligament
loosening a stirrup bone.
Bearded old Brahms
shifts from one large butt cheek
to another,
chords shudder
the music trans-locates us
as we share the lingering hint
of Bratwurst
on his nicotine stained fingers.
Not being musically trained
I am grateful
to accompany a cello and viola
on a kazoo
shaped like a nose.

Great Aunt Maude had a bejeweled flair
With red and blue rhinestones in her hair
Black fluffy coat resembling grizzly bear
We could never outguess what she would wear
Her glitzy outfits were worn with care
Silver sequined gowns, shoulders often bare
She entices old men on the town square
All could easily be lured to her lair.
Other ensembles could never compare
Her collars glistening with fluffy hare
Other women enjoy newest cookware
Great Aunt Maude dressed exotic as Cher

Je retiens espoir
Chassons qui garde notre bien-être
La foi prise en tête
Pour mettre fin à l'interdit des rassembles
Travaillons ensembles
Prenons Dieu par la main
Saison le chagrin
L'amitié vous le croyait
Assez qu'ont le pardonnerais
Ma jeunesse m'ennuie pas
Toujours quelques pas derrière moi
Merci à Dieu
Si chaleureux
En grand esprit
Je vous en supplie

As all marigolds assemble for their rhapsodic choir,
Gentle breeze pirouettes to send their fragrant smiles;
Canopy of clouds bless the new radiance in huge files,
While the sun’s confetti on verdant plains drape the mire.
All roaring waters put silence on their vibrant ensembles,
Oceans and seas beckon all wanderlusts and beach lovers;
While waterfalls' rustling cascade conducts their best alto singers,
Nature sings in great acclamation for this month’s marvels.
While the season produces lots of round fruits in the fields,
Craters weigh in tones for many consumption and creations;
God’s October Blessings call for many thanksgiving celebrations,
Delightful children cheer with their hallow-outfits and face shields.

It will surely work,
Said my heart as I talked to her,
Happily ever after we'll be together,
As now u are ready to be my partner.
I'll be there for you everytime,
Let me be with you like sunshine.
out of the world come with me,
vast are my feeling like a tree.
Ensembles are felt to me now-a-days,
You became my early morning rays,
Oath to be with you till my heart stays,
Unaware of your feeling I'll be there always.......

There was a tantalizing grizzly bear
Who had a sparkling glow and rainbow hair
It was really difficult not to stare
For she was jazzier than the state fair
No one dressed like her except on a dare
She had two make up stations in her lair
Some thought she should wear earrings by the pair
Her ensembles were always pretty rare
Some demanded feathered boas she should share
She said no for she would feel quite bare
I know that you do not truly care
But grizzly bear stuck her nose in the air

In the absence of complication,
trials and tribulations become distant memories.
Above, sapphire skies delight sanguine eyes
and inspire forthcoming musings of the mind ***
Traverse with me oh blessed soul into a world of silence
together we can breach the Universal laws of order
and wrap our dreams with silver bows of mercy and love.....
Ensembles of beauty will ignite and claim our hearts
as we become students of the inner light ;
Place the spotlight onto heaven with ecumenical delight
recall the stars ablation as they blink and disappear
for sake of morns relinquish,she yields to sacred night;
Go ahead resign your tribulations and comply dear Mystic,
sing your cacophonic songs as miracles abound
beneath His tribal skies, new contracts await you,
so now that you know, go set the world on fire
with your afterglow and gait.

Humble,
Rudimentary,
Comfortable clutter to abate fears of agoraphobic stumbles,
A 4x4 white-washed landscape provides the perfect artistic study.
Claustrophobic,
Artificial,
The clean floors become lava so I've practiced my aerobics,
Ugh my artistic inspiration is siphoned by this unfortunately accurate description, an obstinate mockery of my work, look at it sitting there all pompous yet still so superficial.
Blank canvas,
Infinite utensils,
Every little "mess" perfectly fills settles in its stanza,
Of graceful brushstrokes and triumphant crescendos to form my easel.
Insufferable antithesis,
Genocidal doctrine,
Insidiously contagious and unbearably loquacious,
Infecting homes content in their mediocrity and ensembles' sheik rebellious fashion.
A standoff at high noon,
Between libertarian creativity and authoritarian germophobia,
Both sides claiming a fair fight between equal rivals yet they both undermine each other through sabotage and flaunt their charm like geisha,
Who shall I choose?
Eh, I'll figure it out in the morning.

Tuneful preludes play on whoosh of spring wind
as flowers spread their kaleidoscopic wings
Two quartets daze in awe while celebrating
a reunion with picnic and ballroom dancing.
The golden showers radiate and incandesce…
Tulips and jasmine nearby bloom so fresh.
Like utopia where ensembles are veritable
Birds of paradise hung their notes to warble.
Music plays…. in graceful moves…smiles scintillate
a luncheon together - each one will never forget.
Memories are all in photos with red roses
Big sunflowers are captured…jutting our faces.
I hold tenaciously an album in a bright clip
of families in garden party for close friendship.

There was a time when tennis players
Had to dress in white.
Appearing on the court in colors
Wouldn’t have been right.
But rules have changed and now we see
A medley of attire.
In fact, to be a fashion plate
Some players do aspire.
Both men and women choose to wear
Ensembles bright and bold.
A few stroll out in outfits
Rather shocking to behold.
Though some may yearn for former times
When whites were de rigueur,
To me, the freedom from those rules
Improves the court’s décor.
