Protea Meaning: Diversity, Change, and Courage

She is a beauty that stands out for her uniqueness and diversity.
Who is very bold and brave and embraces any changes, nature creates.
Her people put her on a pedestal and crown her as their queen.
Not only for her striking bewitching but mostly for her courage.

She is a phoenix who rises from the ashes.
Her outstanding resilience protects her children,
With her dormant buds, she emerges after she burns down.
Always open to continuous challenges and transformation.

She is admired by the world,
      For her endurances and radiances.
And won a lot of titles at international competitions.
But is indigenous to her country and is chosen as a national emblem.

With a perfect root system, she can survive, in any soil.
And still blossom in splendor, the eight wonders.
Of her country and her species, as she rises every morning,
At the foot of Table mountain.

Premium MemberThere May Be a Paradoxical Mirror

There may be a mirror universe
  in which time runs backwards
Hawkins hosts dinner for time travelers
who eat dark matter for dessert

Thousands of Endurances think
critical thinking was just spotted on Mars
where lonely elephants seek scientists
Hawkins finds Planet 9 in a black hole

There may be an information paradox
  where elephants eat dark matter
Planet Nine still missing
time runs backward while running out of time

Thousands of acres continue to burn
there may be a paradoxical universe
Planet Nine attacked by RNA
  elephants create scientists

Premium MemberThe Innocent Eyes

Eyes sparkling and glittering
Like two little stars from the sky
Charmingly innocent
I give her a smile of
Affection, appreciation and admiration
But deeply in my heart
l feel a little bit sad
For children nowadays
They are born to live a tough life
Suffering from the risk of epidermics
And many more endurances and challenges
in the life ahead

Just a Game

Life
it's just a game we play
those children we once were
 seeking the answers to
what life was all about.

A friendship here and there
 some mere acquaintances
others lifelong endurances
 standing by our side forever
overcoming trying experiences.

Here we are
a lifetime gone in a moment
when time and age entwine
who we were and who we are
looking back and looking forward.

Let the yesterday go
 there is no going back
today is all we really have
and tomorrow can find its own way
in this game we play.

A Heartfelt Invocation To God

A heartfelt invocation to God

Standing on the threshold of day and night
Folding my hands for the power divine
You are the ray of hope that shows me the path truly right
By your virtue my senses and feelings go sublime

Asking not for mercy for my sins
Or grace on behalf of those silent prayers
Instead a heartfelt thanks for the guide that you have been
The way you shape mankind with your dexterous flair

Do not just grant me joy and success
Never want to shy off from struggle and hardships
For I know taste of triumph is only after endurances
Bright sun of happiness shines only followed by an eclipse

The formidable paths of life
The everwidening thoughts and the resultant actions
Withstand me in various strife
Bestow me strength to surpass all melanchonious distractions

Standing in the forest of sub-conciousness
Insatiated by own desires
Save me from pangs of bumptiousness
Since the intricate thoughts of mind cannot be transpired

Painful Endurances

I know that you love me
But our pain exceeds deep
Started out like best friends
But now it’s blowin’ in the wind…
I’m not sure how to swallow this air
I can’t breathe now
The screaming, the choking, the punching…
Provoking
No I don’t know if things will ever be the same
And a lot of it my fault
Cause the liquor called my name
But for the last time…
Cause I almost lost my life
The angels crept beside my bed
To put a lil somethin’ in my head
He whispered, “don’t give up.”
I opened my eyes and then realized
I’m almost out of luck
I’m prayin’ now to save our relationship
There’s no one else I’d rather be with
Us bein’ apart makes my stomach so sick
If I had one wish It’d be to make this right overnight
I know nothin’ is impossible
I won’t give up the fight
I really do love you with all of my heart
I’m not about games
So I finish what I start
