Embracingly Poems

The Music of Time

Time is the greatest, yet cruelest composer,
It has already written its own melody on us.
Our wrinkles and scars are its notes,
Our skin is its sheet,
And our body is its instrument.

Although, you're so far, far away,
I can still hear your music
Crystal-clearly.
It resonates gently, swirls whisperly
Through ages and lands.

Your melody is consist of the sweetest
And most enchanted harmonic minor scale.
The tempo is between andante and largo,
Yet the dynamics is neither pianissimo,
Nor mezzo-forte; just perfect.

Strumming those golden strings
Which evoke those soft, vibrating sounds,
Your music is calling me from the distance
Embracingly and overwhelmingly;
Never let me go.

I know so well your music; by heart.
It's echoing and reverberating in my mind.
So, if I ever lost all of my senses,
I would say I do not need any of them;
Just the two of my hands

For making music on
The most precious instrument of Time.
Before everything vanishes.

Premium MemberSecond Bites

Only female mosquitas bite,
she said.
So what do your male mosquitoes eat?
he asked.
Whatever we inbite them,
s/he said.

So who's in control?
he asked.
We are,
she said.
Why not the mosquito?
he somewhat sexistly asked.

We are
includes both mosquito and mosquita
s/he bilaterally explained
her unfolding engenderfication
of bisexing time,
in embracingly synergetic space.

All That I'D Ever Want

All That I'd Ever Want
Would be to confess my love
As I hold you gently, embracingly in my arms

And to appreciate your beauty
While falling every day, over and over
For your sweet loving charms

Mercy

I once stood above the rest,
Passed with ease at every test.
Time itself was on my side,
The passages were broad and wide.

Now the hourglass is my enemy,
Of the strength I had there isn't any.
The slightest breeze is stronger,
In the darkeness of my weakness I wander.

Lurking in the shadows are my opposers,
Funny, I once called them friends, my endorsers.
Now I am the hunted, I am the prey,
Having no sunshine, not a single ray.

Now life itself persues me,
In no longer holds me in its arms embracingly.
I once stood above the rest,
Now all I can hope for is mercy at best.

On the Beach

on the beach
two pairs of eyes open
upward to heavens of God they stare
waiting for stars to shoot
while they stir and cook fireworks
secrets are planted in the beach sand
the sea breaks
salt-white surf kiss the sandy bubbles
lobsters and shells welcome the surf embracingly
on the sand beach a man and a woman
watch the rising moon
listening to the laughter of tides clapping and lapping
listening to the waves laughter

4 Jon On Our 22nd Wedding Anniversary

Your love is
quite sensational –

Your laughter tastes
    like spring-time rain

Your tears smell
    like sweet lemon flower petals

Your voice looks
    so
    deeply
    majestic

Your heart sounds
like exquisite violin and harp concertos

And your eyes!

Your eyes feel
like early autumn sunset’s amber-gold lengthening glow

Oh, my love, your love
is entirely, completely,
embracingly

Sen-sational!
