Lover's Lane
I see my lonely silhouette
Beside a nightfall dark,
Ragged as a cirrus yet
Upon the moon embark.
Wispy as my unkempt hair
As a metamorphic dance,
Swirling in the midnight air
Upon which lovers glance.
Yet hideous eyes interfere
With beauty as it blooms,
Souring every musty tear
With deathly sweet perfumes.
Love songs haunting lyrical
Between each savoured kiss,
As I gaze upon the pinnacle
Of all the intimacy I miss.
Never a song so sweetly sung
Did sound of silent dirge,
A distant choir that lay among
Embraces that heaving merge.
And what of starry eiderdowns
That hide my naked shame?
Indiscreet, their jealous frowns
Still calling out my name.
It is I who creep romantically
Among cupids wasted darts,
Dying here yet frantically
Collecting discarded hearts.
As moonlit dreams wash away
In loves resigning rain,
Soaked in melancholy grey
I dance down lover's lane.

Yes as inspired by great poet Brian Johnston, I retitle this, ''God's kind of poetry.''
Glorify the Great
Architect
Awesome artist of nature
Author of the universe,
Glorify God
for beauty infinite,
For the markings bedecked
for the striped and the spotted,
The mottled and the dotted
for the gold bedecked
for the glint 'n' glitter bespangled
For the fawns speckled
And other animals dappled.
The cobras bespectacled!
Variety in flora and fauna.
His creation's so beauteous
whether it hath markings
or be it plain,
it's all simply wondrous.
But for God's sake, let that fur
be left solely on its owner
for poachers don't own it
nor do they the python's skin.
So hunters and poachers beware
Unless nobody does care
any longer
if beauty be extinct!
Opt for other options
for your pillowcasing eiderdowns
Don't strip the feathered fauna
of their fine downy gowns!
Be ye cautious about culling or killing
Let no blood be rapaciously spilling
So forever humanbeings may admire
God's stippled effects on animals
And His ripple effect on river canals!

Tridents at the battlement confer
The majesty of uprights feeling proud
Will show the kind of Lilie's I'd prefer;
A showy, shiny, graceful, velvet shroud.
In all their glory, spanning out a clasp
Of well endowed positions each deserves:
And Lilie's found inspired, will make us grasp
At these achievement's made, it richly serves.
This fragile thing we call the peace of day;
Immaculate as heavens scent has brought
Transparent wings of angels seem to pray
In deeper, steeper depths of constant thought.
Producing with them this, the kind lament
Whose stories full of swans are swimming by;
A fairytale of love in each event:
And Cinderella's prince, a super guy.
From this, the plan of eiderdowns converge
With flutes of much ado's and come what may;
When spring is in the air we're on the verge
Of something really special, "Lily Day".
