The Matchless, Unparalelled Artist of the Universe

Yes as inspired by great poet Brian Johnston, I retitle this, ''God's kind of poetry.'' Glorify the Great Architect Awesome artist of nature Author of the universe, Glorify God for beauty infinite, For the markings bedecked for the striped and the spotted, The mottled and the dotted for the gold bedecked for the glint 'n' glitter bespangled For the fawns speckled And other animals dappled. The cobras bespectacled! Variety in flora and fauna. His creation's so beauteous whether it hath markings or be it plain, it's all simply wondrous. But for God's sake, let that fur be left solely on its owner for poachers don't own it nor do they the python's skin. So hunters and poachers beware Unless nobody does care any longer if beauty be extinct! Opt for other options for your pillowcasing eiderdowns Don't strip the feathered fauna of their fine downy gowns! Be ye cautious about culling or killing Let no blood be rapaciously spilling So forever humanbeings may admire God's stippled effects on animals And His ripple effect on river canals!

It is nice that nature inspires you so much...you will find a similar theme in a poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins, a poet whose work I love to read for his sprung rhythm and Inscape. Thanks for the Lovely connection to Nature.

start5ed out great with the purest praise for what only the creator could do. but then became oppinionated which you should have saved for another piece.anyway don't mix praise with complaints. situation.

interesting piece, yes, it is true that humans seem to be the ones that do all the blood letting, the other animals in nature only kill when about to starve or cornered, at least for the most part, and they never have started wars, humans have done so, and usually in the name of their religious beliefs, pretty sad commentary on the human creature historical records. Thanks for your piece, keep writing! ;))) Robert

A very deep and fine offering. Man in his greed pretends that lust is need. We need on air, food, water and shelter. Nothing wrong with striving for more but not at the costs that now exist. A very thought provoking and spiritual write.

I also am against cruelty to animals so this poem resonated with what I currently am feeling. I mean who is man to harm other beings? Bloodshed for vanity and other man-made fads is wrong. I wish more humans will think like you when you wrote this. It's great!
