SEPTEMBER FALLS

SEPTEMBER FALLS

See autumn begin in the cooling air of September
Every year that month arrives at summer’s ending
Perhaps for some, it’s time for one to remember
That each of the seasons has a message it’s sending
Every leaf that finally turns red or gold, then falls
Making a statement that the moment has begun
Bare branches above, as they obey nature’s calls
Each with their memories of a warm summer sun
Resigned now to be scattered by cooling breezes
Following in the footsteps of each passing season
And in the cold air, hints of a time that pleases
Leaving a bounty behind as it whispers its reason
Left alone again now to tie up all the loose ends
Soon it will be over when Winter’s chill descends

Howdy kids,just checking in.Contrary to every ornery ,,fear mongering,
Youtube posting ,profiting from our angst, jackasses ,oh yeah and the nightly news, so far we have made it through the much prophecied eclipse.My daughter and I took it in together outside the gym we go to.You had a parking lot of people on one side and me and my daughter alone on the opposite side alongside our cars for quick take off should the zombie apocolypse commence.When totality was reached applause took place ,a little premptively I thought .Would it not be better to save it for the suns return ? I had been telling her that supposedly to the upper !eft of the sun during totality you should be able to see Jupitor,and at the three and four oclock area mercury venus,and mars.When it happened I looked up to see if I could see Jupitor and saw two fuzzy but good sized orbs in that general area.I alerted my cosmic viewing companion who pointed out they were the parking lot lights that had come on.Anyway,we had fun,nothing untoward occurred to my knowledge,and trust me ,I was looking Still am. Your friend,one spooked kook .

In Full Swing

F-light is now in full swing, 
L-eft and right wings are strong; 
O-n the sixteenth of March, 
R-ise up and never go wrong.

A-im at the highest level, 
R-eceive the precious blessing; 
A-s the sun shines so bright, 
L-ife is now in full swing.

Comfort of the Heart

C-omfort of the heart
R-emains deep inside; 
I-t truly brings warmth
S-o the chill will subside.
T-he comfort of the heart
I-s coming from the sky; 
N-ovember fifteenth morn
E-arly beacon rises high.

A-llow the sun to shine, 
V-erify his brightness; 
E-vening shadow is gone, 
L-eft alone in the darkness.
L-ights in the blue sky
A-re shining in crimson; 
N-ever will they leave you
E-ven in the gray horizon.
D-usk and sad twilight will both fade and depart; 
A-llow the dawn to cause comfort of the heart.

Either Eye of You

E-ither eye of you
M-akes a sparkling look; 
E-ven if the sky is dark, 
L-ife isn't found in a nook.
E-ither eye of you
N-ever seems to be sad; 
E-ven if the raindrops fall, you still really feel so glad.

G-o outside and gaze
A-t the plants and flowers; 
L-eft with drops of liquid, 
L-eaves live by the rivers.
E-ither eye of you
M-oves in rapid motion; 
A-lthough the wind is rugged, 
S-ees reflection of its
O-wn.

T-ry to watch the wonder, 
U-ntil you see the beauty; 
A-llow your eyes to behold, 
S-eeing amazing scenery.
T-ry to stare at the sunset, 
U-ntil you see the horizon; 
M-eet and greet the end, 
B-eginning with the dawn.
A-llow the morn to break on third October view; 
N-orhing cannot be noticed by either eye of you.

Just Get Up Off Your Knees

J-ust get up off your knees, 
U-sing your feet on the ground; 
L-eft and right both standing
I-n front of our foe's frown.
E-nemy of our faith and hope is roaring loud like a lion; 
T-rying to look for a victim to devour into destruction.

B-e brave to face the opponent, 
A-nd be strong enough to fight; 
R-edouble our efforts to win, 
E-ven in the deep darkest night.
J-uly third in the morning, tell the Lord your pleas; 
A-llow His hand to carry you,  just get up off your knees.

Paradise Lost

PARADISE LOST

P oisonous minds roamed in Valley of joy, 
A nd their mission was to kill and destroy.
R uthless bullets pierced the innocent hearts,
A ngry devils tried to tear the Valley apart.
D eath danced every street, none could flee,
I struggled to breathe, as fear consumed me. 
S ilently, world-watched attack on humanity,
E ven weather was merciless in Jan of 1990.

L eft my land to survive in unknown place,
O nly hope I carried, to march in life’s race. 
S o many years gone, Valley still screams,
T oday Kashmir is safe only in my dreams.

Kashmir, God's own land on earth, is the motherland of Kashmiri Pandits. The year 1990, saw a mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from their own soil due to threat to their life and, brutal and barbaric killings by the separatists. 
More than 400,000 Kashmiri Pandits were forced to abandon their homeland.
Even today after so many years of mass exodus, their ordeal continues....

Fun Or Cheer

A-fter the dusk passes by,
N-ight darkness follows suit; 
A-nother new day has broken, to cheer, to warm, to soothe.

A-ll alone in the cold evening, 
L-eft in the deepest shadow; 
V-ivid verses make you feel
E-late far from 
S-orrow.

E-arly morning fifth February
L-ets the chilling rain disappear; 
I-nclement weather changes, 
C-rimson sun offers fun
O-r cheer.

In Good Sight

L-eft in the dark is the night, 
L-onely evening has gone away; 
O-ne morning ninth February, 
Y-ou cherish the beautiful
D-ay.

A-fter the dark shadows fade,
R-ising sun meets the dawn; 
J-ust wake up from slumber,
A-s you finish the 
Y-awn.

O-pen your eyes to the sky, 
R-ed beacon is burning bright; 
I-t brings light and warmth,
A-iming to be in good
S-ight.

Green Meadow

N-ight shadows have shifted
I-nto a new day dawning; 
Z-ero visibility has turned
I-nto a clear air of morning.
E-venfall has fled for cover, staying away from the scenery; 
L-eft is nothing but the sunrise in twenty-ninth of January.

I-n the beautiful view
L-akes and rivers are seen; 
A-cross the plains in sight
N-ew springs make the meadow green.
