In Ecuador the delicious ripe bananas are not one color
There are yellow, green and red ones according to brother.
Which ones are the tastiest? Asked my nosy stepmother.
Whichever one you are eating this minute, answered my brother.

When midnight comes to be
and stars aglow will beckon,
the pulse within me
shan't resist the pull to reckon
that voice that's deep within my ear,
a melody that only I can hear.
How divine the moon again tonight,
graceful and serene, a goddess,
shrewd yet subtle with her might,
she's a most relentless temptress.

The end dear friend is just the entry and he pointed, but he never meant me, it was the old man sat inside me that the message was intended for.
I sat and wondered about the door and what was it the entry for and could it be he meant me after all?
Then the timepiece changed into a watchtower and it changed back on the hour, every hour
what tricks these eyes can play
what puzzles and to blind.
In the end I wouldn't mind a new beginning
somewhere with a decent climate
and
slightly South of the equator
where I could do a baked
potato
on the rocks.
but don't worry
they'll twin you with a town up
in the Pyrenees
which
you'll find out
will be full up with
the Chinese who'll
be
making origami
chewing gum from
Sorghum and
reciting verses from a book
by ...tse Tung
The end is just a fixture
another game we play
away.

The Healers in Ecuador
Ecuador lush greens, and iguanas galore
The smell of the Hibiscus so sweet they implore
The hunches of folk maidens found in books
Adventures in paradise; listening to brooks
Healing the soul from whence it came
Releasing the bondages from deadly games
The essence of breath found in the jungle untamed.
The healers explored vast botany ignored
Within the person the pilgrims restored
Instead of a pharmacy excepting a bribe
Drops from lush plants heal souls that subscribe
And, hope soars as the eagles proclaim,
The Boehme folk maidens brushed them and gently lay claim
Healing for anyone without any shame
Thanking The Earth for royal bounties it shares
Requesting in return to replenish its’ ware

Ecuador
I met a girl in Guayaquil it was night
We swam in the Pacific, the strand
Was white and had upturned boats
I wanted to give her something, but
Had nothing of importance, gave her
A bottle of after shave lotion
She gave me her address which I lost
And since the ship never came back
She became a scented memory.
