Duke Of Edinburgh Poems | Examples

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

Goodbye, Prince Philip, husband of the Queen, age ninety-nine.
Thank you, for giving up prince hood from Greek and Danish lines.
Thank you, Royal Navyman, for setting prisoners free;
thanks for wildlife protection and awards as D of E.

Your Strength Your Rock

To lose the true love of your life
A devastating blow
Even when expected
It breaks your heart to see him go
No longer here to share your life
To talk things through
To comfort you
To see the twinkle in his eyes
So sad to witness his demise
Together for so many years
Your strength
Your rock
has gone

When duty calls
you’ll find your strength
for still your rock
will help you carry on…

Which were there with Belgium portfolios,
In the big West Flanders city of Bruges.

Karen made her debut at the Paralympics
Of Barcelona in Spain in the year 1992,
And went on to enjoy more Paras, due:

Which was a disability trek to two islands,
Over the Atlantic to Turks, Caicos sands,
Where she dived among the coral strands.
