Your Strength Your Rock

To lose the true love of your life A devastating blow Even when expected It breaks your heart to see him go No longer here to share your life To talk things through To comfort you To see the twinkle in his eyes So sad to witness his demise Together for so many years Your strength Your rock has gone When duty calls you’ll find your strength for still your rock will help you carry on…

I thank you George for your visit and glad you found my words moving. It is a sad time in the UK at the moment as the nation mourns Prince Philip our Queen's husband, together for so many years... With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Such a lovely piece Ann, told with sympathy and gentleness as her majesty will feeling her loss this day. This is so moving bringing strength to the reader when passing their own loss. Blessings always, Gordon

Thank you dear Gordon for your kind words. I was moved to write this as I knew how Her Majesty the Queen must feel and I felt such sadness for her. Today I have been utterly amazed at how much Prince Philip has achieved in his long lifetime, as well as fully supporting his wife from the moment she became Queen, she will miss him terribly. Bless you Gordon. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Thank you Tom, I was thinking how the Queen must be feeling and felt rather sad, especially with all that has happened recently within the royal family. Whoever you are in this world grief and loss are felt by all...Hoping all is well with you and your family Tom. With kindest thoughts Ann xx
