DRESS TO KILL

A woman was dress to kill
But quickly took a large pill
She snatched off her wig
Start grunting like a pig
Then ran on all fours up the hill

WHAT MAKES ME SMILE

Waking up to a brand-new day with a smile—
A gentle smile.
Remembering school days with friends,
Playing in the mud with pets,
Watering my favorite rose plant,
Hoping to see it bloom... and smile.

A smile on the faces of loved ones
Lights up the path ahead with glow.
A healthy breakfast, a smooth ride—
Fueling joy to face the tasks of the day.

Fine weather promises a sweet beginning,
A smile makes each moment worth living.
With prayers to the Lord for a blessed start,
And greeting others on birthdays—pure joy from the heart.

A neatly dressed soul sparks a smile,
A clean home admired all the while.
Tasty food brings thankful delight,
And timely support earns a grateful smile—so bright.

So many moments, big and small,
Hold the power to brighten all.
In every act of love and grace,
A smile finds its rightful place.

Dress Down Unseen

Dress Down Unseen
Stay hidden, the world will devour.
Take over your life with power.
 Live a simple life.
 Fade into the night.
Don’t be a part of the drama and gossip.
 Stand alone without them.
You have nothing to prove to no one.
Don’t stand out in the crowd for fortune.
 Walk the narrow road.
Cast out all of your foes.
 There are many false prophets.
For money, power, and being materialistic.
 Don’t follow the wicked.
I want no part of it.
A lonely life is fine with me.
 Dress down, subside from the.
Be your own man by the sea.
A corrupt world calls you by your number.
You’ll be chained up in line to follow orders.
Jesus calls you by your name.
I’m just passing through because I am saved.
Don’t lose your morals or values.
The world will take everything from you.
Work hard and be a good man.
One day our kids will understand.

Premium Member Purple Dreams In Other Realms

Once upon a magical evening an enchanted fairy I happened to see
dressed in a fantastical dress with two dappled wings of lace,
she shone like the midnight sun;
I must confess, she looked rather whimsical
sitting there by a green wooden door, waiting for your lore!
As I sat upon a huge mushroom her eyes grow large and wide,
looking me up and down in my new purple lace dress.
The enchanted fairy said; I have only seen purple in my dreams,
never in real life or in a pretty lace purple dress.
As we sat and talked she offered me some hot tea,
she stirred the tea with a red and pink spotted leaf.
Before I knew it I was fast asleep,
in slow motion I waved to my new enchanted fairy friend.
She was dancing in purple dreams in other realms,
guess this pretty world was what she was talking about.

salvation army

she wore purple because she liked it.
hanging stiffly on the store rack,
yellow goodwill tag with smudged blue ink,
was it a three or five?
she argued for three, willing to pay five, she did.

her breasts had followed the alphabet
from a to b to c to d
and settled back on c
after some of the air had escaped her life
and left her haggling over purple dresses.

somehow salvation was unreachable
and the army refused to go home,
but she had purple swatches to mend the holes
and fingertips that blended too well
with gunnysack purple and bruised memories.

she remembered life in yellows and orange
bright colors that worshipped the sun.
but that was when she dreamed while still awake
and wished without a penny.
purple happens to life.

and it did.

Those gifted with wisdom and cleverness
Come share with me your empathy
In selling my troubles I need some success
Pay a little attention currency
Tell me where to find the spiritual world
I suppose it is hidden too well
And I have to investigate somewhere beyond
The experiences one can tell
It was never my strong point, the keys to unknown
The secret knowledge, all this sort of thing
I’ve a vague suspicion that we never know
Why the winds had to change in the spring
Half-conscious, half out of mind all the time
I search how can we meet again
Come back, love, whatever the dress suits you fine
Hear my calls across time that was spent..

Premium Member We dress our souls with masks of words, as if covering our bodies with fine garments

We dress our souls with masks of words, as if covering our bodies with fine garments,
Every morning, we choose masks from the closet of the heart, full of unspoken stories,
Words are embroideries stitched onto the fabric of life, hiding the fragility that lies within us,
We place the masks upon our hearts like veils that filter the light of truth and shadows,
We are artists of appearances, painting on the canvas of the soul with shades of deep silence,
Beneath the masks of words, the face of truth is a broken mirror, hidden in silent gazes,
We fear being bare, stripping our souls of the garments of words that enwrap us,
Yet beneath the layers, we harbor a universe of dreams and desires, a cosmos of unrest,
Truth is a song that resonates muted within us, smothered by the masks that stifle our whispers,
We learn to dance between the light of sincerity and the shadow of pretense that defines us,
In the end, remains the desire to reveal ourselves as we truly are, letting the masks fall,
And perhaps, we will dare to be honest with ourselves, gazing into the mirror of the soul.

Your red dress

#Your_Red_Dress!
That red dress, illuminates you, setting all your curves and edges, from bottom to top, on a scale, my reality falling blatalantly to reach, it makes me lick everywhere in my satisfaction realm.

Thought to have met the climax of your gorgeousness, until tonight, Dzamn! lady, have mercy on my intake. for tonight, you braking gauges of my perception, a sigh in my reaction, sending palpitations to my capacitation, got no spaces inbetween my pulse, caught on an unbrakeable chain of one heart beat, its all tap dancing floors everywhere in my body, all surfaces damp with sweat.

My voice catching waves of hic-ups and staggering simulteniously. Its getting hot in here, don't know whether this sudden temparature changes affects me alone but so certain I'm contracting fever of your beauty,

I mean, the simphony your body playing to my focus, sweeping me off my grounds on an infinite routine,

I just wanna hold your hand and bow; Thank you for looking this beautiful tonight.

The Dress

Glittery shimmer,floral patterns,
laces around ,bows on back ,
and pattern ties in front.
Cocktail to ball gowns,sexy silhouettes,
bossy pants,flirty skirts.
Beautiful white wedding gowns to go with
handsome suits and tuxedos,
to glam your bod and to feed insta.
From satin ,silk ,cotton to faux leather
in colours aplenty and sizes of all.
Trends so cool and fashion so fast,
with little hands they sew the dress,
as you click add to cart.
Little hands pack and feet runaplenty
to pack with a smiley happy sticker.
Fast as the fashion, slow you realise
its not couture but evil pure.
After a wear and a wash,
you feel the blends of
polysester,hitting your conscience
seeing the ‘Help me’ stitched
behind the label.
Seeing those invisible tiny labourers,
looking at the perpetrator and victim
of the bigger corporate cosmic,
seeking freedom to live their childhood,
lending their little palms to help
from you to me and me to you,
to a free world of ours.

White Dress

And I danced in the courtyard
Wearing the moonlight like a second skin
You were singing in the choir bearing witness to all my sins
I wanted to know how you felt giving in to this desire
Letting me embrace your naked soul
I've long lost that white dress
Now throw your porcelain sensibilities into the fire
Let us laugh, praising the chaos in our stomachs and the fullness of our hearts
Howling through the night

Grooming well goes a long way

To dress well seems well worth a thought,
In merit, dress matters a lot:
Dressed in silk, to Vishnu so suave,
Father Ocean his daughter gave,
In tiger skin, Shiva a venom-pot.
_____________________
Translation |22.10.2024| dress, clothes, daughter, marriage

Poet’s note: Sanskrit has thousands of verses of wisdom called Subhashhitam. This one asks a question, why should one dress well? And then proceeds to answer it by illustration. During samudra manthanam (Great Churning of Ocean), goddess Lakshmi when came out, father ocean gave her in marriage to Vishnu who was well dressed and well groomed, not to Shiva who was clad in tiger skin, and smeared with ash . Later when venom came out, it was only Shiva who could neutralize it. Think, both were eminently suitable otherwise. The transliteration of the Sanskrit verse follows:

Kim vaasasaa tatra vichaaraneeyam,
Vaasah pradhaanam khalu yogyataayaah |
Pitaambaram veekshya dadau sva-kanyaam,
Charmaambaram veekshya vishham samudrah ||

Premium Member Little black dress

I took one look
and my breath
left my body
you were mesmerizing
in your little black dress
I felt my head actually swoon
when I saw you dancing under the moon.
You didn't see me looking at you
I was relieved of that fact
had you noticed me staring
I wouldn't have known
how to act.
When you twirled
the light caught the blue hem
imagine my surprised that
it twinkled like stars
mirroring your eyes.
No other woman
matched your perfection
your smile, those lips
and that perfect complexion.
The wedding was beautiful
but all that aside
I'll share with you a secret:
you were more radiant
than even the bride.

My sister got married in white
Gran commented, “That isn’t right -
You are no virgin bride
That’s YOUR son by your side
You should have kept your legs shut tight!”

Red Dress, Old Flames

Tonight I slip into my red dress,
Cigarette lit, whiskey soda on the rocks.
Perfume’s a whisper, lipstick’s a promise,
I grab my purse and the night begins.

No special plans tonight, just going with the flow,
First stop: the gas station for my favorite chicken mayo pie,
Fries on the side. I’m not used to nights out,
So I think I’ll grab a drink, catch a vibe if I can.

Never forgetting to snag a snack or two—after all, it’s me.
On my way to pay, a voice, faint but familiar,
Turns my head, and there you are.
For a moment, I forgot how to breathe,
Gasping for air with all the words I left unsaid
When we were together.
