Friends
For those who bled
And in the front led
For those who stood together
And to them we were tethered
For the times together
When it lasted forever
For what was lost
And what it cost
For friendship is word
Not lost and never absurd
For what we had
Was never sad.

"Tell me, is it wrong to feel this way,
A tender kiss shared amongst friends,
is this the birth of something grand or ultimately the demise of the beautiful?"
This thought crosses the shallow regions of my lustful mind every once in a while,
And when our eyes meet, I'm torn between choosing to cherishing our friend or indulging in this seemingly ever fading attraction we seem to share when we are alone.
I then Begin to Question where I can keep being your friend even if i don't make a move,
Mistakes tend to destroy homes but make for great memories.

We meet again at the old Police club rooms
And the years melt away so soon
Old stories are told and remembered again
As laughter rises out of old friends
Have you seen the one I worked with years ago
Saw them last week still the same you know
A shared meal together in such fun
Raise a drink together to health each one.

GOOD FRIENDS,ONE FAMILY
Obviously we can judge without Magistrates
As life has being turning around.
In the ups and downs,
And in the midst of failures and success,
We've met a lot of people.
Some became our friends,
Some became our enemies,
And still some became our frenemies.
But we don't know the price,
We got to pay for the good friends,
who've become a family.
In the course of hard times,
And in the course of good times,
They keep us accompanied,
Without dividing their love in percentages.
Their words and actions mend our broken hearts,
So much that, we've held them with golden trusts.
And forthy as now of such strong love,
Our hearts testifies of the best gems we all have.
Which defines us as good friends, one family.
Come, sit awhile, the old woman said,
Nodding knowingly with a cheeky smile,
She pulled up a chair and beckoned me
I knew she had many stories to tell,
And she was eager for good company.
The aged have a way of collecting tales
For the ears of the young like you and me,
So I listened to every story she told
Like they were the most important ever,
As her life's adventures began to unfold.
Widowed by the fighting "over there,"
She had raised three children all by herself
By taking in laundry and mending clothes
Until her fingers were bent by arthritis
And any job she could do--none of those.
"It's tough for old folks like me," she said,
But I could tell she had weathered through
And she would endure to the blessed end
It was a deeply satisfying afternoon when
As I was leaving, she called me her friend.
So there will be times when you are tired
And wish you could hurry home to relax,
When an older person wants to share
Stay around for them, it will be rewarding,
To hear their story when no one else cares.

I was thinking today about what it meant
To be one of us together in the years we spent
For three years at the Academy by the sea
Living in through the week away from our families
Being together it created a bond
One that lasts through the years beyond
We band of brothers once stood together
That helped us in those times we weathered
So the years have turned their way
Those days are our yesterdays
And in our older times
Those days will always rhythm.

Old bones go with old friends
Made to last til the very end
Time spent together still rings
And it still means something
We were 17 and so young then
Away from home so it was time when
Men were men and women loved them for it
To hone us all for the job to fit
The years go by so very quick
Times stamped on us we learnt to fit
And sometimes laughter was what is needed
Remembered as old friends and colleagues we succeeded
There comes a time to salute our friends
Who are with us in a spirit that never ends
A face that’s smiling is my cherished memory
For friendship together is important you see.

I am tough enough I heard you say
Just fronting up to duty every day
Seeing things that make others cringe
A cleansing ale is drunk sometimes in a binge
And I went from year to year
Whilst I held back all those tears
And during the night I see them still
The maimed and dead a butcher’s bill
When you see me know this now
I stood for you in my know-how
And not complained just made it so
But when alone the emotion shows
There is no need to weep for me
My life I’ve made is plain to see
And when my final day has come
Say only of me RIP your duty is done.

I am not perfect but love me anyway .
I love you with no conditions
I am not the most beautiful woman you know but when you are sick I am there for you .
I make mistakes we both do and I love you just the same .
I am jealous , I am miserable but when I am not all of that . I am the amazing girl you met .
I am a mess but love me anyway.
Just love me for all I am and all you know I can be.
I can't promise you easy but I can promise you my heart.
Commitment till death do us part .
To be your lover ,your bestfriend and your biggest cheerleader.
Love ,forgiveness and friendship ...that I can promise you .... until the end of time .
Just love me , I love you for all you are and all you can be .
Just love me without conditions.
I want to use exactly the right words
For death is near,
And words are important.
But when I arrive
And see the state of my friend
And how much weight she has lost
I forget all of my words.
And reach for her hand.
Stroking her as gently as I can.
Showing her love
That could never be conveyed
with words.
Im so used to doing things for you
To the extent of I cant live without you
Its easy to say I'm done,
But still can't accept that you're gone
Lingering feelings of the past
Is exactly the reason why we didnt last
The not so typical hesitation
Turns our story in abomination
Missing you is a part of letting go
But how does one really let go
If the pigments of yesterday
Is still what you want for today
Brethren
in prayer-fellowship*...
Bonded
through God’s loving grace-friendship...
Braced
upon servant-heart's stewardship...
Built
around spiritual work-partnership...
Blessed
along divine authority-leadership...
Benefited
to minister by faith midst pain-hardship...
Beautified
with glorious praise-gratefulness worship!

The first I met you,
I knew it for what it was
no misconception, nor loss
of thought,
just this loving feeling
sanctioned,
by the heavens
above,
now you may pause,
with good reason
your soul, scarred
by past relations
that was displeasing,
but I am here to
say,
fate plays this
way,
I’ll bring you
kindness, friendship,
and lovingness,
every waking day.
What color are you
What language do you speak
Where are you from
What religion are you
Can you speak the same language as I
Do you think that any of that really matters
The answer to that my friends, of course, is no
You are all my brothers and sisters
No matter what color, language or religion you are
If you fell into the quicksand
For sure, I would hand you the other end of my staff
And with extreme integrity
You shall grasp onto it
And with all my god given power
Shall I wrench you out
And rescue you from certain death
If your hands become too weak
It is only because god himself
Has handed you the other end of his staff
