On Thanksgivings Day we sent our son to the neighbors with squash and such.
A widow on a fixed income, she was appreciative. Said “than you so much.”
This is for later, our son told her. We want you to join us for our Thanksgiving meal.
She was super thrilled and came right over, it was the beginning of a great deal.
For she had such stories and regaled us with advice and wisdom galore.
We can never have Thanksgivings Day again without her said my daughter, Dore.
I agreed completely. Mrs. Daisy had added so much color to our meal.
We invited her every year after that, and it made Thanksgiving more real.
Human minds muse the light
fire thoughts to the mind sky.
Fools flail for all their might
angry screams hide each cry.
To view the true sole source
take longs looks at the sun.
See earth's lasting first force
its rays can't be undone.
Dark dreams occur at night
while there's no sun up high.
Atoms fuse lumens bright
wise ones won't tell us why.
Myths are spun by the sages
unsure advice to try.
Faith filled tales through the ages
many truths to deny.
We all live with some fright
nature needs to be heard.
Hope that we do what's right
light shines the final word.

C-herish another new day,
L-et it break up zenith high;
A-llow it to brighten the dark
U-nderneath the blue sky.
D-ream about the new day,
I-n early morn October nine;
N-ight cold chill is over,
E-xpect the weather so fine.
A-dore another new day,
R-aindrops stop to fall;
E-vening shadows fade,
V-ile clime turns beautiful.
A-llow the dusk to pass by,
L-et the twilight walk away;
O-pen your heart to next dawn, cherish another new day.
J-ust adore the heaven's gift,
E-ach grace from above;
R-ise of the sun begins,
R-eminding us of God's love.
E-xecrate not the heaven's gift,
M-an's life is in His hand;
Y-es, the world is given to us, we ought to understand.
A-pril twenty-fourth Monday,
R-efrain from spiritual rift;
C-herish every blessing,
A-dore the heaven's gift.
A-dore the loved one,
P-ink sky stays above;
R-emaining in harmony
I-s truly keeping the
L-ove.
J-ust cherish the loved one,
A-pril twenty-fourth Monday;
N-ever despise nor detest,
E-ven during the darkest day.
E-xecration disappears,
L-oathing and hate are gone;
I-t's time to warmly nurture,
C-herish the loved
O-ne.
D-ay second March morn,
E-ventide loses its gray;
L-ong and lonely night
I-s just fading
A-way.
M-idnight moon passes by;
E-arly dawn shares the light;
R-ain and haze have ended,
C-oal clouds become white.
A-fter the twilight is gone,
D-ark shadows do the same;
O-vernight smoke clears the air, to let the sun burn its flame.
G-reet the sky with a smile,
A-dore the beauty in view;
R-elax and see the scenery
C-olored with pink, not blue.
I-dentify each and every wonder that amuses the beholder;
A-ll of them that amaze you are the creation of the Maker.
E-specially for only you,
L-etter of wish is filled with light;
I-nviting dawn slowly breaks,
S-eventeenth January sets things
A-right.
A-nnual event is gladly held,
Y-our heart feels so fine;
C-herish the day of your birth,
A-dore it with an excited mind.
R-ise then pray before the Lord,
D-o it in meekness and gratitude;
O-ne big celebration is now, so enjoy not in solitude.
M-e and you agree to this union of Holy M-atrimony.
A-ll you need to know is I will always A-dore you.
R-egardless what happens we will have a healthy R-elationship.
R-emember all birthdays and anniversaries or you'll R-egret it.
I-n all ways, I will always show how I-mportant you are to me.
A-ll my A-ttention in the world you have.
G-ive of yourself freely, G-oing the full monty.
E-ach person makes E-veryday count.
