Important Part News Plays
Important part news plays
Does amaze when God will raise
Me up so Him can praise
have been enduring
we need news reassuring
Can be curing
mad mistake truly
hung down head like Tom Dooley
riders are unruly
when we joined news club
ended up eating a sub
at the nearest pub
we had heard news creed
they became a restless breed
for news that we need
when we pay our dues
receive paper full of news
then went for a cruise
heard that each editor
became a news predator
also a creditor
when we joined news crowd
had great skills and were endowed
with them we are proud
news was over barrel
they put on proper apparel
sand a Christmas carol

Expression Stressed-
Solid words liquefied;
Bound and told horrified;
Ancient own;
Dooley honed ;

Irish Limericks
On March Seventeen on St. Paddy's Day
Finbar and Connor drank close to the bay
they ate green saltines
and caught wild sardines
but without any jacks, they couldn't stay
they whized and staggered up dingle harbour
sat at the marina, and ate hot spicy chowder
they whistled and sang
while their stomachs? oh dang !
out to the jack, they pushed it out farther
Finbar and Connor off to Dingle, County Kerry
to join the big parade of pompous dignitaries
light and airy feeling Holy
tooting out just like a Dooley
the day just fell away like wind in the prairies.

Trails and Trials
look around
you can always
find a bread
crumb or
piece of
string
some have been
compromised
suddenly
stop
when
with any
food trail come
hungry animals
including people
unknowingly eat
what may have
led to your
destiny
victory in death
following back
the string path
after killing
Minos' son
Minataur
or from the cookie
jar crumbs that
may lead to death
in the candy house
in the witch's
oven
but above all what
paths before me
lay on display i
can't say any
of them
spell
fate
they all seem
benevolent
and meant
for me to be
enlightened
lighting
what was once a dead
end darkness now
intended to shine
and show me a
way of trans
cendence
evident by names
such as Maureen
and Melissa and
another Melissa
Mark Sean Don
and Dooley

Ina Mae
She was 79 years old when she passed away.
She was my aunt and her name was Ina Mae.
When a relative passes away, it's always sad.
Ina Mae was the only blood aunt that I had.
She was special and she was Mom's only sister.
Many people loved her and many will miss her.
She was a wonderful lady and a loving mother.
She had a bond with her five kids who loved her
She was a human being who can never be replaced.
She and Mom are in Heaven which is a better place.
When she died in 2017, it was bleak.
Ina Mae was both special and unique.
[Dedicated to Ina Mae Dooley (1937-2017) who died on February 24, 2017.].

To Take Or Not Take Turn
To Take or Not Take Turn
Did truly become traumatic
Result of semantic that is static
That you will often experience
And not making much sense.
While waves watched were wretched (Wow all w's.)
In sand patterns were etcheded
Heard some seagulls screeching
For food from God beseeching.
A tern while walking on soft sand
Took turn for worst and would land
Reason why was not well explained
On surface of sand he remained.
Then they had horrible hurricane
With much wind and pounding rain
Waves continually tried to repeat
Until tern was back on his bruised feet.
Fete was found in wind and balm
In eye of storm was seen a calm
Said to myself somewhat profane
Let the _ _ _ calm forever remain.
Who next wants to take their turn
at the campaign. Also, what page
in history will we have to turn to
when we want to find out what
had happened again and again.
Me, me and me again
Who I am in love with.
So I want call anyone
any names that are
not nice.
Yours Tom Dooley,
