Trails and Trials
look around
you can always
find a bread
crumb or
piece of
string
some have been
compromised
suddenly
stop
when
with any
food trail come
hungry animals
including people
unknowingly eat
what may have
led to your
destiny
victory in death
following back
the string path
after killing
Minos' son
Minataur
or from the cookie
jar crumbs that
may lead to death
in the candy house
in the witch's
oven
but above all what
paths before me
lay on display i
can't say any
of them
spell
fate
they all seem
benevolent
and meant
for me to be
enlightened
lighting
what was once a dead
end darkness now
intended to shine
and show me a
way of trans
cendence
evident by names
such as Maureen
and Melissa and
another Melissa
