I dived into the cauldron of magic potion and…
out came a bass guitar
Deep Purple called me up
and asked me to be their Star

So zoom zoom zing
I started to play that thing
when my mentor came to me
and asked me to sing

Sure I will Glenn, anything you say
I can play this darn bass for hours of the day
But my voice is a little rusty even though I’ll try
Please don’t feel sad or even go and cry

Now the magical bass was hopping
And all the women were sobbing
Listen to my bass lines roar
And get to dancing with the bopping

I Dived Into A Caldron

I dived into the caldron that they said was filled with
A magic that would show me all the secrets of the past.
They promised it would make me see such wondrous places
Of the future and learn from the past .
Slowly as I stepped down and the liquid began to cover me .
I realized I needed no potion for the magic was already in me.
To See my future and I had already lived my past,
My journey was here and now and these are the memories I needed to make last.
I looked across as the others slowly gathered around me,
I knew that many of them over time I would sadly no longer see.
I did not need this caldron of magic to show me,
What I had all along the magic was in me.

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion.
I found myself on a wavy, whirly ocean.
My little boat has holes. Anytime it could sink.
Water skins gone empty, I had no drop to drink.

Jellyfish, lionfish, sea urchins, and stingray
How could I from these cruel creatures stay away?
Hungry and thirsty, I find no lighthouse around.
From churches, why do I not hear any bell sound?

I had spent my life seeking to find its meaning.
Towards salvation has ever been my leaning.
I feel I am moving towards it in this sail.
I feel in my adventure I will never fail.

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
And saw my prince charming’s clear reflection
With bouquet of roses and a big box of chocolate
All for me on this coming Valentine’s date.

My heart was pounding in admiration and joy
He was so handsome, fair and tall. Oh, boy!
As I swam deeper, down into its bottom room
He became a wizard and I, a witch with a broom.

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
And saw my prince charming’s magical reaction
Hats off before me to offer all his lovely gifts
And went out with me and my broom as our lift.

My heart was rejoicing with great happiness
For celebrating hearts’ day amidst singleness
This year’s Valentines Day has given me a great treat
A sweetheart in the eyes of people I’m going to meet.

I DIVED INTO THE CAULDRON

She said she was a white witch;
Her spells were all benign.
If I dived into her cauldron,
I’d come out feeling fine.

It was full of magic potions,
Selected with great care,
Guaranteed to benefit
Anyone who’d dare.

She seemed a nice old lady
Who wouldn’t hurt a fly.
So, throwing caution to the wind,
I gave the thing a try.

I dived into the cauldron
And joyfully submerged.
But, alas, I was an ugly frog
When I finally emerged.

Now I live in a smelly pond.
How did it come to this?
If there’s a princess out there,
Please come and give me a kiss.

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion and transformed into the person who I was.ME !
The Me that was missing pieces that felt so deeply about things.
The Me that had that innocence of a child ,who looked at everything in life with amazement and marveled at the wonders of life.
The Me who lived with the Magic that life is to be savored and lived for each moment.
The ME who appreciated the little things in life and believed that the world is a beautiful place full of wonders and so much possibilities.
Before I dived into that Magic potion I was in a dark place.
I felt dead inside ,the Magic was gone
It seize to exist. My heart stopped beating
I was numb,I could feel anymore
I dived into the cauldron of magic potion to be "Reborn"
To become Me

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
and cast a spell—
Abracadabra
Poof
You appear,
as if not a single day has passed
since you went away.

My eyes, wide as saucers,
soak you in.
You look at me with a big grin.
“I appreciate you, Mommy,”
you whisper,
leaning in for a hug.

Poof
You disappear.

I dive into the cauldron of magic
every single day,
believing in miracles—
one so magical.

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
in hubby's best interest
... and, drum roll, mine also
You see, well there's nothing to see
And that's the point
... for this point of contention
only touches the surface
Where his plumbing could use some work
... sigh ... a lot of work
We tried all the gimmicks
... and unfortunately
All the gimmicks laughed at us
We tried the blues, greens, and lotions
And his rowboat remains docked
… In the parting seas
With eagerness, we look at the cauldron
For some magic
Something … like something to hold onto
A rabbit's foot ... hum that might work
Even a lifeboat … only for me
So cauldron what say you
You have a bone to pick … ha, ha

I dived into the cauldron of magic potion
And turned numb
Watching helplessly as my body
Transformed into glimmering stars
All set to twinkle in broad daylight!

Then I found myself in the air
And heard a child wail out
At how gorgeous is the cloud
That is passing above his head!

What has happened to me, I wondered
As I realized that I was the cloud he was talking about!

With a sense of dread settling over me
I tried to get back into the cauldron
So that I may try to get back into my former shape
But the winds blew me further and further away
Towards the open sea where the waves rage and roar!

I felt myself disintegrate further and further
As I fell into the water and told myself
That this must be the end of me:
From human to water,
Merged with the great ocean!

Greed leads one to his own destruction
The magic potion was intended to be
Used sensibly
And I, hankering after its potency
Could only now wander if it is
My tears which are drowning me in this vast ocean
Or if the ocean water is that which drowns my tears!
