imagine
if I was harmless
from the hurt
that lives
deep down
but shallow
in my stomach
that is to big
for my bones to carry
imagine if I was
littler
than the girl
who told me that
she would rather die
than live in my arms
once more
mysterious I am
with my black cloak
leaving my
home
that I long
to be free from
but not redeeming
enough
to pick up my stuff and leave
to cherish you
once more
before you leave me
with wide open arms
I am now carrying
the weight of the moon
in my weak
arms
because I am long
to be free from you
throwing books
at me
when dinner displeases you
and how come
I cant shake hands
with my past
or give greetings to my future
because you're too bitter
for a fortune of gold
and that is never enough
for someone as sophisticated as you
imagine I left tonight
from this ruin you made
for me to sleep in
you would quiver at my name
I would hurt you
like you hurt me

My marriage; in danger
No wife in my bed
She slept with two geezers
In our cattle shed
I did suspect one guy
Of making her stray
She does what she pleases
Much to my dismay
The problem with knowing
Is she often bakes
So now I say, ”Jesus,
That means no more cakes.”
And yes it displeases
That her roaming eye
Has found a new lover…
Like Tracy and I
I’m sat eating cheeses
For breakfast today
My cooking ain’t clever
And she’s gone away
Then sounds from the stable
I found my wife there
But she was with Tracy
And they were both bare

My cat’s become so critical
of the pieces that I write
he kneads to express his opinion
and he always thinks he’s right.
He twitches his ear-itation
if I don't write in Senryus.
If what I write displeases him
he’s under the bed for refuge.
He’s worse than many teachers -
his reviews are seldom neutered -
he pointedly wags that twitchy tail
or cat-calls disapproval.
He laid across my laptop
for half the afternoon
‘til I promised an ode to tuna
which earned purrs of hallelujah!

They look pretty unassuming, mild, bland even the young boy said.
His father looked at his grandfather; they shared a silent laugh.
Tell us how unassuming they are after you grow up and cross one of them.
Or after you do anything at all that displeases one of them, the grandfather added.
They are lionesses, hurricanes, queens, owls, tsunamis, snakes and fevers.
The young boy stared at them. But aren’t Mommy and Grandma girls?
Women boy! Never forget that.
His sister came out and told all three of them off.
Woman in training, and she was only four.

I beheld an altar of sacrifice,
Where selfless offerings are made,
Tears flow like blood,
And ambition is pinned like a dart.
The good mother offers herself,
And seal the blessing upon her children.
A definition of a perfect woman
Whose humility is beyond this earth.
Who is she whose heart is full of care?
A selfless mother whose sacrifice can't be requited;
The Heart beat of her children,
That displeases herself to please others.
If every woman could be like her,
The world would be a better place.
Indeed, She is a goddess
That deserves the praise of an empress.

People don't show their appreciation and quick to point out our flaws. I often think of God and what he must sometimes think of us. We murmur and complain overlooking his many blessings. I know it breaks my heart to hear someone complaining when I ask the simplest things, when I know I've bent over backwards to help the other person the best way I could. What hurts worse is when you need a hand that same hand pushes you away. I know I'm not perfect and never claimed to be. No wonder it displeases God so to see a selfish person who is always unwilling to give instead always wanting just to receive. Nothing good comes from greed it will only eat you alive in the end.

BETRAYAL - FICKLE DEATH'S SICKLE
Life is short, death is sure,
Much is better left unsaid
In this painful life we endure
Many thorns we may have to tread
As death freezes,
Loved ones fall prey to deadly diseases,
Death with His sickle cuts as He pleases,
Sparing no one, He runs rampant,
While we survive, our lives stagnant,
Reminiscing those absent...
For Death's betrayal, what is the cure?
Blood tears that we shed??
Fickle Death's sickle displeases
Our will to live in torn fragment...s...

Father I have done so many things that displeases you.
I have said things that made me appear so brand new
But my heart still remains humble though my mind is out of range.
Am I too far gone, or is there still hope for a change?
The seasons come and go thats the same with people.
Blessings come and go but its not the same with evil
Can you hear my cry? let it not go in vain
And if you see my heart then let it direct my brain.
Let me be lead by your cause and not because of greed.
My wait seems endless, while the weight is more than I need.
Now pain has no life while I gaze through my pane.
Do I appear different, or am I the same?
Is my heart still humble, or is it reacting strange?
See me for who I am and not what I've become.
Help me to see people and not what they have done.
My actions may stumble while my heart remains humble
So if I am out of range then I only need you in my life to stop acting strange.
