The Amourette Autopsy
In vesper’s curt caress there seems no bind
To daylight’s brim or morning’s dire decree-
Your vertigo embrace confounded vows,
Within a steel wheeled cauldron we stirred swamps
We hyperventilated hurricanes
Cajoled embraces, arrogated from
your groom and registry and welling eyes;
Celestial bliss, we buzzed God's prayer vault.
We even deemed the telescopic murk
a trough where genuflections might could reach;
You spun away to opium dens, supine,
I could not trace Icarian designs.
You tiptoed the obituary scene
Without your leaving even a toe’s wake-
But in your swirl you must have slipped but once
in its ambitious, enterprising ink.
Oh butterfly why you abjured your wings,
Regressed to the cocoon womb’s staid address?
I wish I could interrogate your wraith
by dream, concussion, disembodiment.
Enraptured by your sallow soft trained tress-
drapes gaped to manifest seraphic tones
of fairness, though distraught by varying hues
that sapience esteems the bends of life

“When we fall in love,
We’re just falling…
In love with ourselves,
We’re Spiraling” ~Keane
Speak, and forever hold me in chaos
For I will sift my way through the toughest stains of your heart
Clipping words in your anger,
You call upon me once again
And with soft words, I reply in disembodiment
So that you may fulfill your frustrating thoughts
And you say to me, almost coldly,
“Please, speak up!”
Shall I hold you in your frustrations,
To give my unnecessary say?
What shall I speak of,
To blow your demons away?
Speak, up or down, my friend
For my love for you goes beyond my hate for me
Stopping my heart from happiness,
You call upon me time and time again
And with brutal words, you listen in pieces
So that I may sink into my absorbing softness again
As I say to you, so gently,
“Please, go on…”
Will you hold me when I weep?
When my mysterious silence disturbs you?
Or will you continue to speak,
As my demons devour me?
Go on......please...

Take me to a place with no dismay.
I have faltered more than this day.
No more, no less in any human way.
Then any other human, I can say.
Distress of disembodiment of the mind,
These things never seem to ever unwind.
Thoughts flow inward, this I will find.
Words unspoken are always unkind.
Are these dangerous to my soul, I ask free.
Are these just the shadows of memories?
I humbly hunt, seek discovery of the key.
That shall solve my dilemma or miseries.
I shall not sell my soul this I do vow.
For any undo happiness, here and now.
These devilish angels that fall and cowl,
Shall gather not, inside humanistic bowel,
Wake me into a place with no dismay.
Whoever shall falter after this day?
Will as promised be forgiven every way,
These words are bonded, by a crosses display.
Note
I do knot know where this came from.
The words just came as I was writing this piece.

A thin web of light encases earthen madness--
Dancing with the dead
Ancestors of yesteryear
Tribal rituals—warriors--
Attractions to molten heat & Survival--
have we learned enough this trip to the brain
“O” majestic one?
You have the answer
To unlock what is known & the key
To unlock in between--
Arise !
My child & be who you know you can be—
Many centuries before in a dream-
