Discussing Plan of Attack After the Event

Used to be that planning your day around the breakfast table,
Was no fable,
And made perfect sense.

Now of course that is unworkable,
As most now text able,
But have trouble making a lot of cents,
As discussing only failed plans at the tea table,
Does not make you work able,
And points to a lack of common sense.

Premium Memberdiscussing sirus tonight

Sirus is unaware we are watching him
Through telescopes, for he never gets dim.
his effulgent light so radiant, vivid and bright
Shows us a blazing brilliance tonight

Sirus means glowing in Greek, my daughter says
She is a genius, named for my great-aunt Inez.
Sirus is also called the dog star says my little son Jake.
He is lighting up the sky tonight, sparkling up the lake.

We Were Discussing Erotica

Your pale face seen through a glass
of Rosea, lips painted,
gashed scarlet by the dumbstruck songs
of your blood.

Your eyes are a cosmic darkness
yet as bright as Samurai swords,
blades that piece both my mind
and yours.

We were discussing erotica,
how freeing it was to be bound,
how the flimsy drapes of black on white
or white on black can make the skin glow
like the soul of a virgin.

Such choreographed passions
should be a dance upon a slow fuse,
for the flash of the fire itself
is but a brief sun-flare,
and quickly
leads to meaningless words of love,
or the gagged silence of separation.

Premium MemberTwo Squirrels Discussing Poetry

Well, y’know,
If it don’t make my tail dance…..
But…but…
If it’s so long
I have to drop my nuts to read it….
Yeah---Yeah
and I hate it when I hafta run back to the tree to look up a word
and those “rhymey” ones
that think “tweet – tweet – tweet”
is a rhyme scheme
OH Yeah, !!!!but those ones – y’know
That sooth the heart
And inflame the mind
Curl the tail
And make me forget
Where I buried my nuts.
Those lines I whisper
In a chattery way
To my honey
As we cuddle
In winter.
OH….THOSE!!!
DAMN…..
AIN’T POETRY A GAS.

Premium MemberDiscussing the Zebra Twins

Those zebra twins have more energy than a barrel full of hungry lions.
I try to picture this but can’t, as I have never seen a barrel that size.
They prance around in my yard and eat my petunias, the neighbor groused.
Do they eat your marigolds and your day lilies?
No.
I would plant more of those, and less petunias.
Problem solved, right?
They wiggle their big fannies in our faces, the neighbor reported.
I looked outside where the twin zebras were.
They were licking the bark off his yum yum trees.
Maybe they need salt, I said.
Maybe you need to keep them in your own yard! Said the neighbor.

Premium MemberDiscussing Aunt Lulu With My Sister

Aunt Lulu is brilliant, a genius.
Are you daft? She is insane.
Her ideas are innovative and selfless.
Her notions are nuttier than a walnut tree.

She is an enigma, elusive and enthusiastic.
Did you get the name right?
She is certifiable, headed for a psych ward.
I have her name and her number thank you.

She is the most intelligent woman I have met.
Did you ever meet our mother? She was the bright one.
Did you ever listen to Aunt Lulu? Did you ever hear her words?
Mom said she was crazy, and that’s good enough for me.

She is insanely sane.
She is a diabolical disaster, bipolar, on lithium.
And that makes her crazy?
Mom said she was; that is good enough for me.
Now who is the crazy one? Please give her a chance.
No thanks. My mind is made up.

Premium MemberDiscussing Womens Underwear

How about using a soft comfy material?
You are being silly. Those materials are for men.
Women like being uncomfortable.
Having the tight elastic garter belt stuck in their crack.
Rubbing against their cheeks, rubbing them raw and red.

Okay, what about this idea – giving them some open legged underwear.
Are you crazy? So someone else can reach under there and get my goods?
Your goods? I thought they were MY goods.

My grandma said that pantaloons were great; they came off and on fast.
Your grandma said this!
Before grandpa snapped a chastity belt on her of course.

Girl On a Train Discussing Gatsby

Gatsby crazy!
All about lies and shooting people
I don’t get it at all
Just need to know enough to get through class

Did you know he kept a list, though?
A list of things he wanted to do
That is the only part I like
He kept a list

I have a list
Things I wanna do
But I am not gonna mess it up
Not like that crazy Gatsby
And I am sure not gonna mess it up
For love!

Two Beach Strolling Sisters Discussing Their Savior

This was his virtue; that with head and heart
He saw life sanely, from all mist apart,
and spoke with such assurance as he showed
our way as straight as an old Roman road.

This was His beauty, that with bird and flower
He loved the strange revealings of each hour,
from wandering stars, from waywardness of earth;
Fountains of poesy quivered at his birth.

This was his grandeur, that in all he saw
or dreamed, he bowed before eternal law.
Knowing his soul the vassal of the King
whose realm is established by our laboring!

Premium MemberDiscussing the Birds and Bees

Both Mom and Dad felt so very ill at ease.
Impotent when it came to discussing the birds and bees.
Reading up on how to handle a subject so delicate,
Determined to provide Johnny with knowledge accurate!

Sit down, there's something we need to discuss with you,
And it ain't your acne - it's a topic about which you have no clue.
Nothing will be held back - we're laying everything on the table.
Don't be shy about asking questions and join in if you're able.

Because this matter is so important we want you to be well versed.
Endure with us because we want you to hear it from us first.
Excuse me Mom and Dad, save your breath, 'cause you see,
Sex education was thoroughly discussed in school during my puberty!
