Beyond the Family Within

Immanent is the kernel of consciousness
embedded within every living thing
no matter how big or small is the creature.
It is this spooky common disconnectedness
that allows the spark of entanglement
to trigger an emotional response
to and fro from all living things.
It is from the within of all things
interconnected, that the transcendent spirit begins
to grow beyond the sum of the parts via an evolving inheritance.
Transcendental immanency is the whisper of leaves in the breeze
It is the murmur of waves lapping in the seas,
It is the eyes matching-making with glints that please
It is the warmth of shared smile that both emulators sees
It is entanglement, the spooky spiritual links that appease,
join, bind and interconnect all living things
into a family within, immanent and transcendent.

Alone To Oneness

I am special, or so I thought,
No one can understand me,
Alone and lost, so hard I fought,
The love of God I didn't see,

Challenges braved, I called my own,
None to enfold me in love,
Perplexed in confusions unknown,
I never did look above,

Now turning back, I clearly see,
It's something all humans face,
Soul disconnectedness we flee,
We're a spiritual race,

This quest for truth unites us all,
We long for the taste of God,
Without His poured out grace, we'll fall,
Without Christ, onward can't plod,

We all are one in God's dear sight,
Always in need of His care,
In this dark world, we need His light
To steer us when in despair.

Once Upon Our Body

In darkness we relied on moments that seemed warm,
Yet coiling scales upon eyes must be sliced away.
In familiar regions, incessant shadows of emptiness;
Can not devour all that we have been.

Sore soles from lengthy, piercing roads
& months lost to malice, infatuation, & pride;
Seperating our true selves from the sanctity of touch.

How oft, (even in ecstatic disconnectedness,
& loving loneliness), souls still one
Are one flesh?

The jagged teeth that jut from the inner wall of gums
Bite deep,             blood appears on the pillow;
Mind somehow too far from the oracle:
That is our body.

This trajectory of our lives, shrapnel from a timeless
Collision of lips.

Alas! Our body remains one, splattered to the memory
Of crows.

I

frosted window
bitter disconnectedness
etched heart on glass.

Premium Member Drip, Drip, Drip.................

Distance separates our closeness.
Disconnectedness, disparity,
niggling annoyances creep
stealthily into the unity that was.

Drip, drip, drip of destruction.
Tarnishing tenaciously......
tick tick tock the calamitous clock
concocting poisonous concoction.

Angry words thrown like venomous arrows
piercing a once beguiled heart.
Plans of permanence placed in temporary
abeyance ........romance gone.

You captivated and entranced me.
You wooed and lured me into false security.
You rocked and stroked my eager enthusiasm,
then cast it mercilessly aside.

Drip, drip, drip of destruction
tarnishing tenaciously -
pools of passion dispersed in disparity.
Save water. Save us. Turn off the tap.
