Mimicry

When I analyze the lyrics
I see everything that the world mimics
It’s the easiest of diagnostics
That unravels the mystery of these mystics
How we tamper with the sacred relics
Cutting and stitching tapestries from solid fabrics

Watching while your hearing wastes
Numbing nourishment out of your tastes
You try to keep up and so forsake your rest
Stretched to the limit, you have no zest
And you wither in the haste
For at high cost you copy and paste

Who lived well if not your fathers before you
With timeless counsel they try to hand you
But the old gold you trade for the new dew
The rich color you trade for a pale hue
Forfeiting and sidestepping blessings well due
And then flood your tears on the pew

As the world pulls its strings
It matters what a man sings
If about worldliness and things
Onto the strangling cords he clings
If to God his longing, belonging and belongings
Then he is one among priests and kings

Diagnostics

Surfacing from troubled dreams
becomes a hasty reshuffling of plausible realties.
One by one, flimsy fibs are tested,
then grudgingly rejected as improbable.

There are always reasons to arise
and remain perpendicular
even though we may be still following
a horizontal dysfunctional track or trace.

Time to chew over a few words,
let flow the in-the-know and bluff
until enough is done, said, published,
bruited abroad, proclaimed
as a hear-ye ambulating truth.

Proclamations and declarations,
that indeed we are all here
listening to each other
explaining away our on-going
disorderly mental ponderings -

for of course,
psychoanalysis is far less revealing
that our daily abstracted, distracted,
rambling perambulations.

Defamation

Digging ditches deeper does depend on dirt
Degradingly dry or dampened and drenched
Discovery delivers different diagnostics
Despite dimensions of developed domain.

Diagnostics

Instigating heifer vitalisation to ensure a shine in a creased field is to bake a circular cake in an acrobatic style. Wow such format.one should not ponder in such depths of dough. But as a minstrel is neither a sweet or a starter be aware when placing the cutlery on a table. Forbidden is the fruits of the elder tree for entertainment is clustered with flaws. And closeted jackets seek to contain but many many atoms spin in a bin. So before alighting that thousand foot of train sing the nineteen hymn to a tree and swing in twenty bushes. That will certainly result in proportionate levy. La la la on a particle of sand is a la la la in a wave arch. Darkened is the sealed depths of wisdomatic curvaceous zones and meanwhile a seaweed arrives in a dress made of shell to sing an aria to fallen leaves. Great. Now go chase a pan around. There are plenty. But chiming the timing is a chime for a rhyme. And so the cuckoo clock does speak then? Great isn't it? Click clock clucking came closer cantering. And a mop of fish. *** diagnostically z

Becoming An Unfeeling Robot

In a world terrifying
One must make oneself hard
Because if you speak honestly
You will be feathered and tarred
To avoid heresy seekers
You willingly commit sin
Thus every time it's possible
You purposely harden your skin

Time inevitably passes
You feel strong to the core
And all you had to sacrifice
To feel nothing anymore
And that childhood honesty
That warned you of danger
Are now the strangest memories
Of some far away stranger

And those twinges of regret
As if you have lied
Are purged from your thoughts
Because you have arrived
You hear the clank of metal
As they run a diagnostics
It's an exoskeleton upgrade
As they rewire your fiber optics
