Silver Thread

The plight of a poet's words
having no one to read
With our souls full of emotions
needing to be freed
It's our duty to show others a
world through our eyes
Breathing truth into subjects
doing away with the lies

Where the ocean kisses the
tan sandy shores
Anything sounds seductive
with well placed metaphors
Beauty in the words so that
they can loudly speak
Or as they softly murmur
as listeners they seek

All along just wanting to
be read and appreciated
While admiring the beauty with
their meanings well debated
Spring, fall, summer, and winter
all gorgeous seasons
Describing each spectacular
one's way to be teasin

So let's ride upon the
moonbeams brilliant glow
Listen how echos bounce
off planets in perfect flow
Using our words of poetry
to be descriptively read
Showing how we weave
words with silver thread

Batman

Batman
A lot of jokers
An they poison ivy
Catwoman became a rivalry
So I'm playing smoking aces
Lil Penguins praying
No escaping they organizations
Black masks
Hiding they identity to mask
Batman descriptively has the sketches on his pad
The dark knight will rise
I use the bat symbol as a guide
Dark clouds strive to clouding his mind
the battle harder when it's dark&cloudy outside
One Man against a Hive
To conquer and divide
No robin
Devious schemes they plotting
Just me a one man justice league
Fighting till justice is seen
League of shadows
I'm use to rising out the dark
Tactics an gadgets sharp
To use in the battle

Premium MemberFrancine

I admire the work by our own Francine.
She writes things descriptively clear and clean.
Each new submission I eagerly anticipate.
‘I will gladly read it because I’ll know it’s great.

Francine comes from the north in British Columbia
That’s the westernmost province up in Canada.
She lives with a very large collection of birds.
What I can admire are her poems with words.

Francine is a woman both knowledgeable and bright.
I can find her on the Soup both day and night.
Her many compositions have been put to the test.
Francine does rank up there among the best.

There is just one more item I have to say:
Francine, what do you have for us to see today?

Premium MemberShe Made Love To Me With Poetry

She made love to me with poetry
Rhyming erotic terms
Descriptively and explicitly
Painting a scene that made me squirm

The rhythm of her words
Moving like the lovers she described
With each passing stanza
I grew hotter deep inside

I was building to a climax
Simply by her words upon my screen
Delicately yet deliciously woven
Erotic but not obscene

My heart palpitated
Sweat built up on my brow
I had never been moved like this before
But her words did it to me somehow

She made love to me with poetry
A ballade I’ll never forget
Who knew that you could be seduced
By someone you never met

Proud Mommy

Let me paint a picture descriptively
going on ten he's only three
ever so smart as can be
with an enormous vocabulary
mastermind of colors, numbers, and ABC's
Harvard, Yale, or Stanford University
a bachelors or masters degree
a bright future I foresee
runs like a flash of lightening
a grand finale of fireworks of energy
mentally challenging
exhausting me physically
yin and yang personality
on the cusp of gemini and cancer, diversity
brilliant ear for musicality
memorizes songs effortlessly
carrying and holding a tune in every key
happily he love's to sing
smiling, friendly, cuddly
at time even naughty
sense of humor ingeniously witty
lives fearlessly
a bundle of purity
Loved and loves unconditionally
blessed spiritually
tremendously I'm a proud Mommy
