Since the government won't define 'woman'
    Let me help: They're demonstrably super-human

  Until recently, thought to be closer to God than men
    'Progressives' aim for 'equality' ~ ahem ...

   Speaking at a White House Meeting on Aug. 31, 2022,
   Education Secretary Miguel Cordona refused three times
   to answer this direct question: 'What is a woman?'
   (The Daily Caller, Reagan Reese, April 18, 2023).

A Wrong Picture of Failure

To fail is to hit the bottom scale,
Demonstrably show you could derail,
To shamelessly lose your trail
And go ahead to simply wail
And at cheating sky rail
Like one refused a bail:
To tears receive, even tears hail,
Keeping a face awfully pale,
No correspondence no mail;
Your image for helpless sale…

For the failed Male, no female
From the female bared a male…
For one’s crucifixion, concrete nail,
The wind to blow one off, A Gale!

Hilarious

On a whim, to prove once and for all
I took a beach ball
and placed on it a glass of water—
Please hold your laughter—
And then rolled the ball over,
Do you think the glass stayed put?
Even though it should!
Voila! It spilled the water all over.

That conclusively, demonstrably and logically proves
World is NOT round. It’s FLAT.
Otherwise, all the waters of the seas, rivers, lakes
would spill over
And make the skies all soaking wet;
You’ll have the fishes and crabs
falling from the sky!

And the world is going nowhere—
You see the same sun, same moon, same stars,
day in and day out;
The world doesn’t revolve,
It’s stationary. It’s pinned to the sky!
Otherwise, I would have long thrown up,
I suffer from motion sickness, you see.
There, I proved it!

Premium MemberIs It I

For whom do you write, vainglorious poet?
Who are the disciples you seek?
Shall converts worship at the altar of your prose;
Devoutly reciting your works?
Is there passion alight in your breast;
The call of some unknown muse?
Or does your pen labor of its own accord,
Guided by some universal force?
What is the sermon?
What message do you proselytize to the masses?
Shall all bow, or bend knee;
Demonstrably awed by your articulate compilations?
Self-fashioned prophet!
Or perhaps it is godhood you seek.
Author of verbal constructs.
Creator.
For who can judge your writing?
Who can look down their nose?
Furrow their brow?
Scoff?
For what you have crafted stands.
In grandiloquence or simplicity.
Perfect.
Crafted just so, and gifted to the world.
Can a critic better evaluate its worth;
Can the detractor eclipse the creator?
Perhaps then, it is he
Who fancies godhood the more.
A Grand inquisitor!
Laying to rest the heresies of your writ.
Sound the trumpets!
Send forth the drums of war!
Who shall emerge the crusade?
Shaper of public opinion.
Master.
God?

Cold Comfort

When life on this planet seems cumbersome
and weighted with serious magnitude,
delight dragged down by deep opprobrium,
I pad into the kitchen for some food.

In front of the refrigerator, I
see tacked with tacky magnets your sweet face ,
in the photograph taken last July,
and what was crushing becomes an embrace.

All the gravity of Earth seems flimsy,
it’s unyielding force demonstrably soft,
when refrigerator magnets’ whimsy
can anchor cheerful memories aloft.

Cold comfort may sound like a paradox,
but nourishment’s on both sides of this box.

Social Animals

You are one presence,
or are you,
you try hard each time,
you are in company,
some of it is natural,
flowing from your aura,
at others you have devices,
to make you known,heard and seen,
is it necessary that you are acknowledged,
can't you arrive and leave,
all alone,
just like animals,
who do know and feel,
each other,
but not so demonstrably along,
perhaps not,
that is the clue,
to the human glue,
they are  just animals,
and you are social animals.
