I hardly know her,
yet I dream.
Her name is Luna,
she is one of those minor Goddess's
that are often seen
on a clear starry night in rural Ohio.
My friend Morty says
I am not worthy of my lovely wife,
but he openly declares his love
for my spouse.
Meanwhile, the demigoddess known as Luna,
has written a bio of my life so far,
In her last chapter
she changed my name to: 'Morty'.
When I told Morty, he just winked,
and asked me how my lovely wife is doing?
He and Luna are a couple now.
I can't help wondering about them,
and what they get up to
on clear and starry nights in rural Ohio.

A demigoddess passed
on the other side of the street.
I stopped and gazed astounded.
What is a rosebud compared
to this ethereal beauty?
Delicate contours adorned her mien,
grace exuded from her every pore,
an ecstasy that made you hunger,
a perfect flow of effulgent nature,
an enthralling fairy alive in high street,
spreading magic in a drab environment,
a breath of fresh country air
in a polluted atmosphere of a crowded town.
Graciously she moved on,
turned a sharp corner.
I lost her forever.
Who cares, I thought.
But I understood
why grapes are sour!

You lead me on
seeing my life was incomplete
whispering those promises
dripping honey sweet...
Now I am to understand
we are to be just friends
alone in my house of sand
contemplating inevitable end...
Such a comfortable liar
weaver of broken dreams
fantasier magical bean buyer
a dark siren mystifier...
Falling I must confess
I won't buy them anymore
demigoddess in little black dress
bedroom white liar galore...
I lived your beautiful lie
being the hoper and the prayer
looking for rainbow in our sky
and you the proclaimed soothsayer...
But I became ensnared
in my self created fire
by such a beautiful liar
victim of my own desire..
