TO BASKING ON THE SHORES OF MY POETIC SEABED
Lying here on the shores of the seabed of poetic creation,
May this flow of waving words stream joy, worthiness, and
Inspiration to the thirsty eyes they froth upon; hydrating them,
And energizing sad, weary souls with peace, love, and hope.
May such allegorical words overflow into waiting cups,
To later be sipped by a deciphered understanding of minds
Hungry for awareness, truth, and guidance towards liberation:-
Indeed, may God pour out of my poetic cistern, his divine wisdom.
And for these frothing waves of words of peace and love,
I would be in dehydrating remission if I did not give praise
And thanks to my fellow blessed scribes who likewise
Continue to water my poetic seabed with nourishing grace:-

As Freshly Laundered Linens
Secured By Pins On a Back Yard Clothes Line
Airing Out In Daisy Aromatic Breeze
Set to Dry Under The Friendly Not too Hot Sun!
I Sigh, For this is All In My Mind
Sitting on My Granma's Front Porch
In Refuge From the Grueling Rays
Urging Me to Bare My Thoughts and Pen What I'm Thinking
Front Porch Resort, High Noon, Anti Sun Bathing
Dehydrating My Will For any Outdoor Frolicking
I Sigh, For While I Sit In The Shade
Cool Northern Breeze Blithely Tickles Laughing Leaves
Birds Chirping Chapters About Disappearing Honey Bees
Propound Is the Scenery and Serenade
Convenient Atmosphere For Shadow Work In the Shade
I Penned, I Sigh
I Think When I Pen and Pen What I Think
Seated On Granma's Old Wooden Porch Chair
The Chair She Once Sat On, She Ascended and Left Her Earthly Effects Here
I Sigh, Sometimes I Shed a Few Tears
Empty Nested, Time Tested
Constant Gratitude for Granma's Love And Energy Invested
All of Nature Singing A Song I Wish To Remember
Chorus Of Natural Equilibrium And Profound Splendor
I Sigh, Audibly In Silent Relief, Nature's Song Soothing Grief
As the Sun Sets, I Am Soothed, Settled, Nested in Peace.

Tale of two Cracks

Farmers Heel crack
S C R E A Ms
Bountiful harvest
is no time to rest
From Farm to Market
Middlemen exploit
Money lenders squeeze
Scheme benefit vanishes
Bumper crops
finally yield cropped price
Farmers lugged
on soil to survive
But best efforts
and worst System
cracked their hopes
created cavities on heels
Unable to crack
mystery of destiny
hung by rope on tree
World calls it suicide
But is a murder
abetted by apathy of society
Land Peel crack
S C R E A Ms
Ecology cycle of
Water-Vapour-Clouds-Rain
callously breached
Depleting water table
meagre network of irrigation
leaving soil parched
Brittle cracked pieces of soil
sliced sand gasping for life
Disregard for Environment
causing floods, famines
drenching, dehydrating soil
depleting nutritious layer
fertile land turning barren
Earth suffers miscarriage
feeding bosom dries
Blossom dies
Flora and Fauna cries
World calls it Natural calamity
But is ecology's murder
abetted by humans antipathy

Once we sang
songs of summer,
now melodies freeze
in winter winds.
If only tears could
strum guitar strings.
Revealing the truth,
as your voice just lies.
Why whisper words,
fingertips refuse to play.
Sad songs,
hide behind metaphors.
The audience begs for one more,
but the tongue yearns for
a silent serenade.
In the ballad of yesterday,
there were smiles,
affectionate attention and
enchanting embraces.
Today
each song has no soul,
rhythm has lost its spirit.
Wounded lyrics,
dehydrating in empty
chambers of my heart.
Just because you sing it,
does not mean it is true.

Found this old poem, so thought I would post it.
Have no idea why I wrote it, nor if I ever felt like that.

I haven’t eaten anything for days.
My mother and father are part of a pit piled
with bodies of today, yesterday and day before yesterday.
Time doesn't make sense to me anymore.
I don’t have time to eat, play or enjoy the sun;
I have no food to eat,
my friends are either dead or forced to join the army,
the Sun’s warm sweetness is now dehydrating me….
My tears have no one to wipe them.
Tanks, soldiers and corpses are now my company.
I’m a victim of war….

Morning drizzle
Drops of rainbow;
Colours dazzle
~~~~~~~~~
Weather contrast
Hot and dehydrating;
Sticky humidity
~~~~~~~~~
Lonely songbird
Dawn epiphany;
Lost lover's lament
~~~~~~~~~
New journal entry
Ring-bound folio;
Ink stain memory
~~~~~~~~~
Sleepy distractions
Lazy Saturday weather;
Bakery fragrance
~~~~~~~~~
Towering monolith
War memorial site;
Our glorious dead
~~~~~~~~~
Relics of war here
Public cenotaph;
Never ever forget
~~~~~~~~~
City lights twinkle
Festive air prevails;
May Day holiday
~~~~~~~~~
Valedictory speech
Gratitude meets promise;
Ambitious plans
~~~~~~~~~
Squirrel zigzags
Sideways on huge trunk;
Midday amusements
~~~~~~~~~
Old friend visits
Home spun stories;
Catch-up laughter
~~~~~~~~~
Pretty lovely child
Charming glowing smile;
Curious ways attest
M-y Friday goes like this…
Y-ou may read on
F-reed from the worst nightmare by the crowing of a rooster at five in the morning
R-unning on the track like there is no other morning
I-t’s noon now, so dehydrating that I wish to calm the sun with something cool
D-oing my kind of job, being stuck in my own head at times, I consider it pretty cool
A-nd now when the sun poses from its next angle, isn’t it amazing that I’m meeting five again?
Y-es, I have finally met the other five of the day and I’m heading home for my Nike to hit the track again
I woke up and took a good look in the mirror today,
I didn't recognize who i was but who i saw had this to say,
dreams are floating around like a lost boat at sea,
trying to look past the waves to see where land be,
should i travel East or maybe South?
should i speak up or shut my mouth?
should i try to catch a ride on another boat?
or push through on my own row, row, row,
But then i noticed that I have been sinking slowly,
my other crewman jumped overboard and the parrot never told me,
the sharks are swimming around and I am the bait,
and right now I have no choice but to sit and wait,
just a few moments, don't want to attract their attention,
and I wish i had an anti-diuretic for water retention,
because i'm dehydrating slowly, the sun taking all my energy,
i need some hope to see what i got ahead of me,
please somebody help im here lost at sea.
first stage
I am decaying
Right in this very moment
Actually tasting, enjoying the very process of it
Shrinking, dehydrating
Burning some high dangerous levels of vitality
Wasting layers
My body.
Eating its own share of sustainable proteins
Radical speed approach
Passing and pissing time
Withering through an extremely tight and yet scattered carcass.
I’m only being anxious
And curious
Hard dealing with my own entropic other one
Betting on high cards
Dreaming at perfect figures
Of light.
second stage
Trapped in head
Vast no rental charge area
Only life billing
Strange negotiating skills
Refined sand through my teeth
How am I suppose to recognize
The better
From myriads?
I choose only to gaze
Very slow and indefinite pace
Edges everywhere
Sadistic sharp corners
Tortuous shades and blinding
Violet lights
Cutting right throughout my clenched bowels.
That’s definitely not a very good moment
Or space
To take a crap and have a smoke.
final stage
There’s never, anything final about it.
