Blinking dazedly, she drifts through the roads
Sometimes a light sparkles and then it fades
Her eyes view the world
Like an astigmatic sees the lights on the street
What does she want?
The clear young girl lost her sight.
Clarity moved away for hazy views.
A prescription so dearly needed.
Hospital ques seem endless.
The ultimate view seems forever beyond her grasp
And thus she loses her balance.
Arms flailing to catch on and feel,
She wonders if this is all her life would be.

“I’m going to become a nun,” I announce to no one in particular between Sprite sips.
“You’re Catholic, I suppose you could,” Lisa says, with a mouth half full of pizza.
“Why do socially distant guys look extra attractive?” I ask dazedly.
I reach my hand out slowly - towards a sweaty, chiseled, guy entering the pizza place, who looks like he’s just coming from the gym - like someone lost in the desert reaches for a mirage of water.
“No!” Lisa says, protectively lowering my arm “you’ll just have to put him back.”
I sigh. “I want to do something interesting or shameless.” I say.
“Don’t we ALL.” Lisa agrees, knowing all we have ahead is 4 hours of reading.

The last war
I saw
Was an eyesore
In a crazy film that further lowered my lower jaw
And had me dazedly regarding the scene from bare floor
Its further showcasing of a monstrous chain saw
With all its quartering powers and awe
That man’s bestiality brought to the fore
Peace talks among factions making something core
And bloodletting, at best, an exciting bore.
The last war
I didn’t know the reasons for
In humanness proved man abjectly poor
And in Holy Spirit, an empty store...
Much was it worse than a shaming whore
One sees advancing and considers an exit door!

The last war
I accidentally saw
Was an eyesore…
In a crazy film that lowered my lower Jaw
And had me dazedly regarding the scenes from bare-floor;
Its further show casing of a hyperactive chainsaw
With all its evilly quartering powers and evil awe
That man’s bestiality once again brought to the fore
Making peace talks a thing to humanity core
And much blood shed at best an exciting bore…
The last wars
I saw in a friend’s store
Was worse than a shaming whore
Towards you advancing and you’re fast to an exit door

"As I stare dazedly into the sun's paintings of yellow and crimson,
I think of, once more, how to break out of my unbreakable prison."
~~
I stare; I shout out into the blue sky,
"Please release me! Do let me go free!
On my own wings, do let me fly!
Let me holler: Freedom, engulf me!"

Loving him is like
Being in love with a
Midsummer rainstorm-
He's got a soul born of thunder
And lightning-
Got caught up in his whirlwind, spinnin'
Into the circle of his arms-
Dazedly-
But he always looked so- calm-
Didn't he?
The eyes of a storm always do;
But when you get close enough to
Hear the wind-blown
Whisper of his sigh,
You'll feel the energy swirling
Under the surface of his skin
Like fireworks
All ready to burst into shimmer-
White-hot sparks
Burn in the dark-cloud shadow
Of his smiling eyes-
Like hurricane warnings flashing
Between hot and cold- like
Thunderbolts and fury of a downpour
Sudden enough to leave you gasping-
You get swept away before
You have time to get a good grasp
On your heart...
Loving him is like that.

We spent the night—
once, in non-verbal talks, from rhythmic
folk steps in duple time
to a wild swaying. To enjoy life,
be totally free. A lover, friends
and me. Yes, me. I was there, to be with
them. They wanted loud music and
the exotic juices of an Agape plant, I
preferred a peaceful night. Still we
partied, with the ungentle winds
and my sentiments. The snapping chimes
of woods in lit and the boozes took
us down the field, presenting the earth and
the sky. I watched the night, with
drunken eyes. Ah, there were the stars
and me and the options
yet decided. The stars easily had it, and I dazedly
winkled, welcoming them into my world.

‘Tis winter season—
a bracing weather, foggy in its warmth.
The trees are drying, as bones,
gripping water from the winter soil.
It’s resting on an earth snow:
dancing in chilliness, dazedly.
Perchance,
it’s waiting for a poignant breath
that will give him soul.
To feel, once more, from being numb.
To warm his heart;
but the serenity and the turmoil have ended.
The dream is forgotten by the prized.
The dream is freezing the lover.

The fighting stopped.
I opened my eyes
And looked down the tunnel
That ends in white light
Dazedly walking forward
I pay no attention
To the sound of my feet
On the sticky floor
Ignoring the warmth.
My senses evade
The revolting smell.
Then I trip and fall down
With a glutinous splash
As I realize
That the road to heaven
Is covered in blood
I disgorge my entire self
And I’m diluted
Into madness.
