You First

Broken in two is the way
You wanted me
Swimming in my tears some nights
Not realizing that was only the beginning
Endless pain, constant reminders of my faults
Never being good enough to love
But a target for your hate
You shattered what little confidence I had
You built me up
Only to be the one to tear me down
Always making sure I knew I was damaged
Causing me to hide from the world
Destroying what was left of myself
So that no one would know the true me
The one that you made me ashamed to show
The very things that made me unique
You hated the way I love
Because I stop putting you first
So you made me second guess everything
I doubted my every move
Depending only on you
You shackled my mind
While bolting my heart to your dart board
You spoke hate, with a smile
Your touch was like acid rain
Your presence dried my bones
I lost my voice next to you
Your life flourished
While mine diminished
You took my very breathe
From me to survive
I never had a chance to break free.

Premium MemberThe Dart Board

Darts boards on the wall
There are twelve together
The twelve teams are formed
To make friendship with fun

Everyone throws a dart
For the highest number
Then second,third,fourth
Now the game begins

Some darts thrown hit the floor
The others miss the board
Its not easy as it looks
Some darts hit the walls

The others aim for the middle
It does not happen to often
A lot of darts thrown miss
Never hit the dart board

Left For Dead

Left for dead.

Rocket on the floor; dead men in a war.
When you hear the call, come prepared to fall.
Picture on a door shows the face on the dart board,
Through which the injured will soon walk.
Blood on a wall;
You have been here before.

Ghost in the night at last has found its sight by misdesign.
The ghosts disappear in the morning light.
Pocket on a leg, left there to forget.
Written on a tissue in lipstick red.
Numbers to regret, words I never said.
All those people you left for dead.

A soldier talking about peace is an oxymoron;
Put down your weapons of misfiring neurons.

My Daughter's Teacher

Because of what happened to my seventeen year old daughter, I went too far.
When a forty year old teacher impregnated her, I strapped him to the hood of my car.
I drove him through a car wash and through a cactus field.
It's been five months and his wounds still haven't healed.
Next, I hung him on the wall and used him as a dart board.
When a dart hit his crotch, it was something he abhorred.
But I soon learned that this teacher is also a judge.
And what was so bad is that he always holds a grudge.
He sentenced me to thirty years in jail, what am I going to do?
Never make my mistake because if you do, you will be screwed.

Run Through the Field

“RUN THROUGH THE FIELD”

you must return after
death to survive another.
you will be placed on
the dart board and
they will shoot you with
everything that makes
them hate themselves.
the midnight hour will
hold your tears of agony
as you ride through sound.
you must add to the show,
contribute your creations
from the seeds of your life.
only then, will the eyes
play on the faces of ichor
strength.
placed before the council
you will fight.
placed before the council
you will decide in your hour
of abomination.
the gods pick no favorites.
there are ways out and like
the field mouse, you too can
escape the falcon of death.
your life is your life.
it isn’t for the taking
and
it never has been.

Why Are We In This World

Why are we in this world: Is it to betray one another with incessant lies, or to hope when all seems lost.
Coming from both sides; neither of these reasons seem worth living.
On one end you have family and friends that you've grown to trust however, when you think you know them they show a completely new side and treat your back like its a dart board.
And on the other you've lost everything, you take charge and charge keeps knocking you down, you take action and actions keeps fighting back.
That is when you wish for the best and the best never come, only then you begin to realize...life is a diminishing light like the stars in the sky that prove they were there and only in time prove to disappear.
However between that time it takes to diminish; proves to be..a light of hope

Dart Board

Like a dart board
I can handle a good game
I get pierced
Sliced
Torn down
Many exert their frustrations
From the world
This place

I'm medieval
I love watching battle
Each dart thrown
A spectacle of madness tackled

I'm always on the wall
People constantly stare
In desperate need of dough
Place bets on me, do you dare?

I'm shaped like an onion,
I can be smelly
But very attractive
Although I appear shallow
My layers can bring out your best
Our relations are always 50/50
If it were any other way
You'd just look at me
I'm at the wall hanging solitaire

Deface the War On Drugs

What pharmaceutical hypocrisy
Blurred doctor patient relations
Continuous with dealor-junkie satiation
Arent't we living to eat?

The safety regulators will come down harsh
Trickling down their axiom motif
With Ronald Reagan collectible trading cards

Who's poison beef still feeds
The vacant lunch room lot
And appetite feeds necessity
A supply/demand immortal praxis

So when economists don their hats
Rationally sanitizing the goofs
It's mighty easy the Federally pen
A Riker's Island estate
Keeping the wooly horses busy

While generations pock-marked
Throw themselves towards the dart board
Becoming gangland officiates

What we need is a cleansing rain
To wash the virtual records and shame
Letting ecology grow the way it should

Wrists Inclined To Labor

Curling 'round the wrists of men
scent of soda, salty skin
burning asphalt and the like
mentholated, acrid sky
Simmered hint of peppermint
lager froth and dart board dust
brisk of midnight on their brow
jaw a concrete bite
Silver watches in their glow
holding scents of lemon musk
brandied oil, wishes too
from every girl they've met
Work is there right at their wrists
melting steel and stamping sleet
backward masked and fortunate
snap of smoke and sky
Earthen ginger, piped and singed
braided breath of momentum
granite blood and calloused hands
centered feet and grease
Held at bay in warm appeal
shadows way past five o'clock
Carved out strong and seared robust
these wrists inclined to labor.
