Love is four seasons IV- Winter

Winter

Winter spreads a white cloak upon the ground,
His hands are cold, yet kindness may be found.
Snowflakes are unwritten letters from lovers,
That whisper in the wind, then rest under snowy covers.

In the coldest nights, only love’s warmth will survive,
Keeping the circle of seasons gently alive.

Beloved, when you come, spring of union and summer of passion bloom,
When you leave, autumn of memory and winter of longing loom.
Our love is four seasons that through you find their part,
A cycle eternal, forever turning within the heart.

Love is four seasons III- Autumn

Autumn

My beloved wears autumn’s golden gown,
Her honeyed hair falls gently down.
In her eyes lies a sorrow tender and sweet,
You are my autumn, O spring I once did meet.

Leaves descend like letters left unread,
One by one to earth they are spread.
The wind of autumn whispers through the trees,
A voice from time’s deep heart, telling memories.

Golden pages drift like a half-forgotten song,
Each line inscribed as the earth moves along.
And soil becomes the gentlest bed,
Where all these tales of love are softly said.

Love is four seasons II- Summer

Summer

O beloved! Come, set my soul ablaze with your flame,
My heart bursts with longing, whispering your name.
The shade of trees shelters me, while crickets in the night
Sing endless songs of love beneath the fading light.

The sun lifts a goblet of fire across the sky,
Its golden arrows chase the hearts that fly.
Night wears a cloak embroidered with stars,
And each of my glances is lit by your fire from afar.

From the blaze of your face, my whole being does burn,
Each breath a spark, calling for your return.
This endless fire draws me into its flame,
And in the heat of your presence, summer burns the same.

Love is four seasons I- Spring

Spring

Beyond the visible spring of nature, a secret season stirs my soul,
My beloved spreads her emerald robe across the waiting whole.
Her breath releases jasmine, wild roses in the air,
Like dawn’s soft breeze, she touches willows with tender care.

Each step she takes breaks the silence of the night,
And flowers awaken, opening petals to the light.
Lovers’ songs, like migrating birds, soar into the sky,
While pearls of dew on her cheeks like morning jewels lie.

When I stand before my tall and graceful beloved, I bow with greeting,
She answers with a smile, like a flower at day’s first meeting.
From the fragrance of her reply, spring drifts through the air,
O newborn season of beauty and grace—arise, all gardens prepare.

With care I seal my love, the rising sun our witness,
Each kiss returned, red as blossoms of morning brightness.
Thus our love dances in the fresh spring air,
And every breath of nature bears witness that we care.

Premium Member Roses have a life cycle

Since early youth we’re brainwashed to
measure ourselves with a beauty stick
while the real standards need to be
how kind sweet thoughtful loving we are

I’m sixty-something and past my prime
I’m not supposed to look like a hot babe
I’ve had my day in the sun and made it count
now I’m that fading rose whose time has come

Loving From Afar

Loving From Afar

Staring at you even only from a distance
Is enough for me even without a chance
Your presence I always got from a glance
Making my heart comes out to dance

Suitor of a dream, catching a midnight
Sailor in the sea, waiting for a twilight
Breaking the horizon, nearly left to right
Loving from afar is like losing on a fight

The hundreds of but, what if’s, and maybe
Are the cycles of love and what it can be
It may be romance, subtle, or tragedy
Just like loving you without knowing me

But no courage to show the feelings inside
Doubts are dominating with fears alongside
Beats of the heart doubled like a riptide
But I will always here loving by your side

Premium Member RIVER OF GRIEF

RIVER OF GRIEF*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Grief flows through our lives much like a river traversing the mountain passes of a rugged landscape. Just as rivers create new channels through the land, the relentless flow of grief can lead to a new landscape within us. Over time, the waters of sorrow recede. A transformed self emerges, one more beautiful than before.  This is time as the river tells it, stretching and bending in unexpected ways.
in time's gentle march
river flows, its banks soften
grief is a river
*Note: "River of Grief" is a common metaphorical phrase; it is not my own.
Premium Member The Cycle of Nature - Paying It Forward and Back
     A tree needs sun, water and soil
       gives back its fruit...
          and its shade
          on a hot, sultry day
     A bee needs a flower to pollinate
       gives the world honey
          sweetens life
          soothes living souls
     We too have our needs
        our sun ---------------- the warmth of parents
        our water and soil ---- their nurture
        our flower ------------- their love
     We too give back
        our warmth
        our nurture
        ~ our love
Droplets of Relativity
Life moves ever forward
Every minute that passes
It changes ever so slightly
Stepping closer
Step by step
Til the steps fade out into the night
Millions of them start and end
Like droplets of rain
Eventually they evaporate
Into clouds they form
And soon they'll fall, again and again
Spin-Cycle Romance
Left sock, lone rebel,
elopes with the tumble dryer—
true love eats its mate.
The Life of a Day
Tireless sphere unbidden woke
Climbed on high to blaze anew
Retires to bed at last bells stroke
Bids the starry night adieu
