Terrazzo, Terrazzo!
Keep me satisfied
She curfewed all
With an artisans
Doing of work
A world shall envy me
That my floors shall
Be works of art
Clean enough for people
To dine
I shall stand before them
And brag that it is mine
Those novice wishers
Who wish to how it was
Done
Shall hear the stories of
This artesians labor and
The price of the contractal
Science we had begun.
Curfewed days
and curfewed nights
Soulless lives
And thoughtless minds
Nowhere to go
No way to find
Bearing the odds
Daring the storms
Only sign of life
Quiet whispers in our homes
Hearts drenched in gloom
Touched by pain
And nothing to gain
Lost we are
In this world of insanity
Wondering what it would take
To retrieve our dignity
And our lost sanity
