Curfewed Days and Nights

Curfewed days and curfewed nights Soulless lives And thoughtless minds Nowhere to go No way to find Bearing the odds Daring the storms Only sign of life Quiet whispers in our homes Hearts drenched in gloom Touched by pain And nothing to gain Lost we are In this world of insanity Wondering what it would take To retrieve our dignity And our lost sanity

I am sorry you are still under a curfew. I was dropping by to see how you are doing and I seen this sad poem. it is difficult when our freedom is limited by others. You are in my prayers.

What a shame to have become used to having freedom stripped away. I sincerely hope circumstances will change for you and your country.

a dark poem and very deep, Irfana. It is sad that so many live like this today.
