Premium Memberthe mouse takes the crumbs

breathes lost in fog
of our minds,
and the pain of
my liver,
is no release,
cooked
in the coals
of the fireplace.
I'm attracted
to the voices
when I sleep
when I wake up
screaming
out
the words...
I hate
myself.
I lost the coils
of the hose
as scrambled
and tied up
and the water
has no
release.
I don't know
how to live
anymore,
I've lost
and I'm dried
and I don't
even cry
and I violated
worse
than the selfishness
of myself.
I'm in wet freezing
of the sheets and clothes
of no animosity
felt but now so numb,
the mouse takes the crumbs.

Premium MemberThe logic of crumbs

Even Judas,
a traveler through the night of betrayal,
left behind crumbs,
feeding the shadows of birds
hidden in the ashes of forgetting.

Betrayal does not scream,
it learns to keep silent,
becomes patience,
a crippled love
feeding on promises
lost in abysses,
where time breaks
into shards of destiny.

Bread Crumbs

Many versions of me appear everyday,
I'm living several realities this way.
There are many parts that want to play,
A galaxy full of life feels what I say.
Staying connected by design,
Leaving Divine dreams behind.
Little bread crumbs for me to find,
A complex story time has defined.
A mansion of rooms within my mind,
Everyday a new reality i designed.
Aligned with the Divine I climb,
A ladder of lessons evolving me.
Revolving around seeing what's to be,
Carrying me through eternity.
It's energy I see in everything,
Vibrating at its own frequency.
Many versions await discovery,
Some are in recovery.
So many Me's I get to play,
Waking up different everyday.
Yesterdays shadow may affect me today,
Just another version I get to play.
Aware of my present creating the way,
Being the best version of the part I play.

Crumbs

I am a sifter
So I can be objective
Regarding the sincerity of my smile
About why I laugh
About whom I assign
The key that renders my being whole

I am a sifter
So I can be intentional
Regarding the weight of my words
About when I speak
About whom I honor
With the deepest secrets of my soul

I am a sifter
So I can be purposeful
Regarding the circumstance of my cares
About what I love
About whom I anoint
As partner on the chariot of my vexation

I am a sifter
So I can be held accountable
Regarding the direction of my dreams
About where I peer
About whom I embrace
As the beacon of my aspirations

Bread Crumbs

Feigned cusps of nothingness,
brass knobs holding the fireside,
life's amazement,
like an infant's emotion.
We should be confined to ourselves
too many others opine,
life becomes complicated enough,
shake the air that moment,
ditch the weathervanes,
learn to float.

Premium MemberArthur

Crows come
And crows go
But Arthur always was.

For years the lofty oak had been
His look-out every day
And soon as Mother chucked the scraps
His shiny eyes
Would spot the crumbs
From eighty yards away.

No craftier crow
In all the land
Than Arthur black and strong
And wise more wise
Than all magpies
He would not fly straight down.

Although he’d had
So many scraps
From Mother's grassy lawn
He’d never ever fail to wait
For just in case
It might be bait
To trap him once for all.

So Arthur’d sit and look around
Then fly a reconnoitre
And then he’d fly a closer one
And land in something shorter.

OK! I think, would Arthur think,
It might be safe to eat it
And down he’d drop
And grab the lot
And quick as quick
He’d beat it.

In memory of a crow that used to perch in the first big oak at our tree nurserey in England during the 1990s and 1980s.

Premium MemberThe Giver of Crumbs

The politicians and globalists plopped us in a teacup
feeding us the sugary crumbs of their lies
stuffing the lungs well below the waterline
to muffle screams for a peaceful existence.

Keep banging your tambourine boy
smoking that sweet government grass
wear your hippie t shirts
nobody is listening
war is a metal monkey-swinging from a money tree
war is a lemon squeezed from the misery of the masses

The machine is built to grind down our peace mountain
it is fueled by a never-ending supply of greed and sorrow

someday the cup will blister and crack
the masses will spill out
eating the marrow
and drinking the blood of the giver of crumbs
and sorrow.

Oh, Crumbs

I'm thinking of making a cake.
     Oh, yes?
And I have ingredients, I do!
     Sounds good.
They'll love my cake, oh yes, they will.
     I'm sure they will, but . . .
I have a special recipe, see?
     Sounds good, but . . .
Once they've eaten that cake, you see -
     Hmm?
- they'll be happy, oh so happy!
     You mean . . .?
Oh yes, oh yes. I've grown that stuff.
     That stuff?
It's green, you see, it's green and dry.
OK, OK, I'll give it a try.
You'll enjoy. You'll enjoy. Oh, you will enjoy.
I'll feel a great euphoria? No doubt.
But you haven't tried it yet.
     Hmm.

The Mother of Crumbs

i was making a scoop with one hand
with the other palm wide open
i collected them

while they were silent
put together
looking like the old ladies from my neighborhood

the silence from them entered my body,

all care was, not to get hurt,
sitting
face to face, on a corner of the table, me on the edge of the bed,
other times, lying on the floor on my stomach, i rolled my eyes around them;
fluffy, crunchy,
dry,
sticky, more whitish,
black from burnt bark,
some rolled easily, others stuck to the floor,
i was looking for bruises, tooth bites,
one day
so that they don't get hit by other children from the house
i put them in a cheesecloth next to the stove,
besides the snoring cat
to guard them.

Turtle Dove

A turtle dove
I landed on your chest
Widened the jagged crack
Your Heart chambers shivered
Quiet silver ripples in a
Tender Garden of Eden

Watching me, your son
Clapped his hands in orange glee
I sought some breadcrumbs
Which I found upon your stable sea
I was vanquished by the I
Within your I

Her wedding vows were simple, heartfelt and concise…
“If love is the bread of life,” she said,
“I promise all my love with every slice.

A smile crossed his face and tears welled in his eyes.
He could not hide his happiness…
his contentment…
his surprise.

For he knew in their life together…
in their future…
whatever comes…
He would have been just as happy…
living off the crumbs.

Bread Crumbs

While the world is constantly turning on its axle
Her life was spiraling out of control.
First, she lost herself and broke down her self-esteem.
   Give in to her cravings.
Lost her job and her faith,
   Made so many mistakes.
She derailed, took a different path,
Forgot about the footprints of her grandma.

   She got hooked on drugs,
Because she slept with a thug.
   She chooses the dark side,
   Love was blind.
Let the crows corrupt her soul, and take over her life.
   She gave away her power.
When it was nearly too late,
She realized it was time to turn around.
After her house burnt to the ground.
But she did not know how to find her way back,
Because the crows ate all the bread crumbs.

They bound her into drugs and left her powerless.
   It took a traumatic incident,
To bring her to her senses.
She and her kids almost lost their lives
They would die in hell fire.
Finally, the peels fell from her eyes, she is not blind.
Grateful to God for giving her a second chance,
    To be free and alive

Only to be a few
left out for grabs
a certain sense of dignity
a time in latitude
miles along the way
days as it states.

The Crumbs On the Plate

The Crumbs on the Plate
                                                    By
                                            Patrick Kelly

The lamp of your life once burned so bright before it crashed to the floor.
You crawled around the walls while trying to find the door.
You ate from the table of life only to drink the wine of fear.
You cursed under your breath, so easy on a sensitive ear.

What happened to your dreams, now that you’re all alone?
What made you struggle against your pride in fear of the great unknown?
Did you not know, you could light your lamp from the light of the Savior’s love?
Did you know, you could eat at the master’s table, your hunger you can get rid of?

He can give you a new insight and he will pull you from your despair.
You can seek a new sunrise and find comfort there.
The dinner has been served now, and from the table you ate.
Nothing remains of your old life, but the crumbs on the plate.
