For Shining So Bright, You Burn Out and Die

For shining so bright, you burn out and die;
     for soaring too close to the sun, you fall
to the hard earth below and crash: “Too high,”
     judge the gods; so, as lesson to us all,

you're chastened for your lofty, prideful flight.
     Like Icarus, I test life's great divide
between deity and men: visionary sight,
     God-giv'n, and penetrating—eagle-eyed!

What seems like pride is for history to laud:
     so, as Jesus the man was, so am I.
Only a God humbles another god;
     that's destiny no man can e'er defy.  

Though the world crucifies, God testifies
with fulsome laughter that I, His child, rise!

I dine with the blind,
See this divine,

Anxiety

How dim and doomed my mind is 
When I try to explain my disorder to own self and others,
Just as much as I hope to tighten up the loose balls
And invite the dead into my home, I can’t.
I can’t do anything much except what I can’t explain to you.
It tells me aggressively like I’ve been deaf since I ever gave in to thinking, to the world
“Stay away from me!” it says, “leave me lonely in my soul for my want,
Incline your poisonous superficies to eliminate me, this is who I am!”
Can’t you tell? My caring and love crucifies me with no patience,
It reminds the crying kid sat underneath the brain protector how anxiety forgets she lives,
Sat there lonely with scars, bleeding eyes and forgets life
How this has become the daily course of the grand part…
I can’t explain to you how I feel nor to me,
My undying memories behold the theme of my confused situation 
And all I know is I will be fine trying to be okay.

Breeding in minds to a truth

I heard my own voice crawling on the walls
Scratching the mirrors of my soul
When you’re helpless

I looked into the windows of my soul
There I lay with nothing but a voice
A voice that could set me free

Emotional pain that crucifies the heart

I lay down thinking about my sorrows
I lay down thinking about evolution
I lay down thinking about religion

Because even these thoughts can’t help me

Im Not Safe

Nobody wants to be lonely, hurt, burned, pushed, 
No, It breaks you, crushes your soul
It takes the life force, right from your breathe,  
Crushes your spirit,
Hunts you down, crucifies your soul,
Rips the feeling right from your veins,

My soul entirely left alone, Abandoned to the cursing screeching windmill of crushed dreams,
The harder you fall, the deeper the ruin, the more scars get embedded inside,

I dont wanna see the fiends lurking underneath my cracked feet,
Hoping that the light in the distance is salvation,
But nothing can hold a promise to these MAYBES my emotions keep exude,
Maybe tommorw Itll be over, Maybe tommorow itll be OK,
Maybe, Maybe,...

Its bound to break, my mind keeps trying to fight the truth,
 But the ghostly sound of fear, emanating from deep within, 
Extinguished the little light I had left, 
And my conscience lost.

 I got thrown into a darkened room, the heartless fiends I feared the most, 
came galloping towards me,
Every demon tatooed by my fears,
Their loud banging echoing inside my head, 
Its not safe, Its not safe, Im not safe.
